Keystrokes -- Dolbey Fusion - Daphne

Posted: Aug 01, 2012

Is anyone familiar with Dolbey Fusion?  If so, how is it to work on?  Keystrokes has an ad using this platform and before applying I would like information about it.  Can you produce a good line rate on it?  Is it easy to learn?  Anything you can provide me would be appreciated.  Thank you.

I use dolbey fusion but only for the voice sm - anon

I type in word but as far as the audio is concerned, it is just fine.

After re-reading the ad, I realize it says Dolbey Test with an IN-DVI foot pedal. Do you work for KS? thank you.

No I did but training took a month and never got going sm - anon

and I said goodbye to them. I was told I would get paid for training but that was a month ago and have nothing. I wanted so to work for them but now I am thinking it is better I didn't. Some people have great experiences with them so don't just take what I say.

Thanks for letting me know. I am trying really hard to find a company that does a lot of hem/onc and rad/onc, that is why I was interested in the ad. Once again, thanks for posting.
Did you turn in your hours and counts on the intranet? If so, you would be paid. If not, better co - KSMT

Rather than complain about it to a bunch of people who can't do anything about it, contact them.
I'm not complaining about it, just telling the other MT sm - anon

my situation. It was only 2 hours of pay for training and no big deal to me. You people really need to quit assuming what others are saying.

You read way too much into my post!

I think what the other poster from KS meant was you shouldn't come on the board and accuse a company of not paying you for training when you yourself didn't submit it for payroll, even if it was only 2 hours of work.
KS, what a joke!!! - better off
[ In Reply To ..]
You train on the phone for 2 hours. You get to type 5 reports a day until you get out of QA. Who can live on that? There's always a learning curve for any new account and when you have to quit another job just so you can spend hours learning all the specifics of a new account, but only get paid for 5 reports a day, it's a joke!!! Sign ons never work on the first try and then they require you to call the hospital you work for to get it fixed. They have an IT department that gets paid to do that, why is it the MTs responsibility. OMG, I could go on all day about KS, but all I can say at this point is good luck to anyone who gets on board! Was not worth it for me!!
Not the same for everyone. How can you say never or always? - Tired of Bashers
[ In Reply To ..]
My sign-ins worked, and my training was different than yours. I was only on 5 reports and QA for 2 days. Keystrokes does not have you call the hospital to get something fixed. They don't allow that. You have to put in an IT ticket.

To use your phrase against you: OMG, KS could probably go on all day about you, but they wouldn't waste their time. Why do you?
I never had a chance to "turn" in anything for pay sm - anon
[ In Reply To ..]
It was an email between myself and someone in the company who asked me how many hours I was in training so they could pay me for it. I don't care that they didn't pay me. I was just stating my experience with them. You people just go way beyond what is necessary. This is ridiculous!
my experience - better off
[ In Reply To ..]
I did have to call the hospital myself after putting in a ticket. IT called me and told me too, so I am not making things up. My sign ins did not work. By the time you clock in, log into Meditech, enter all the demographic information, log down everything they require you to log down, etc.....I didn't get anything done. I do understand not everyone has the same experience, I was just voicing my specific experience. I've seen a lot of others on here voicing the same experience. I think that's why this board is here. So when we say never or always, that's pertaining to our experience where it never or always happened!!!

Everyone has different experiences. I had issues with log ins, but you have to give it time. The IT Department at Keystrokes is wonderful. I never have to wait very long to get a problem fixed. I would say they are an awesome company to work for. I love it there. I wouldn't change anything for the world. You just have to give it some time, be patient. It will all work out for the best if you just give them a chance!

My personal experience with KS: They never offered to pay for training. They don't always answer questions asked repeatedly. They have some accounts where most of the labor is off the keyboard so you are only compensated for a small fraction of your time.
