The original post was wondering why it is necessary - to blame everyone. SM

Yes, an email is sent to tell people to straighten up and stop doing whatever they are doing wrong. Agreed that needs to be done.

But THE POINT IS - why does the email have to always blanket everyone for the actions of a few? This is not a standard employee situation where managers have to be politically sensitive to feelings or someone whines to upper management about how they're being singled out and mistreated and then some sort of sanctions are filed, people have to go thru sensitivity classes, etc, etc,

Why not send the emails to the people who are to blame, instead of being a major pain to the ones who didn't do anything wrong. This isn't really meant to be constructive and courteous, polite helping the employee perform better kind of bullshot.

All the standard rules go out the window in these IC MT situations.
