DocShuttle Tech help

I am looking into using the DocShuttle program for my business, but the more I read, the more confused I seem to get. I understand about the Dongle allowing more than 3 installs, so here are my questions. 1. Hi - I'm stymied. I just paid $89 for Docshuttle and when I tried to play the file, I find that the foot pedal doesn't work. Docshuttle provides Wavplayer Lite, and there is no Ports option where I can select USB as the foot pedal connection. The URL shows the screenshot I took of the WavPlayer Lite.
