I don't usually post on here but I am so discouraged with the Fiesa major/critical errors - is anyone else getting them because they say you left a word out? I listen SO HARD anymore (I even went and had a hearing test and Dr. check last week and my hearing is fine) to hear everything and yet apparently I'm not hearing everything. I am in tears most of the time now. Sorry, I just wondered if anyone else has noticed an increase in this type of error lately. Thanks

Probably every single one of us has felt that way about this hole (I can't think of a better term without swearing). Gosh I hate that they do this to perfectly wonderful people who are good at what they do. I hate that about this place. One of the many reasons I quit. There are places that actually value you. You have to really look and keep at it, but you can find that place. Leave this dump behind. You'll immediately better about yourself. Trust me. It's what they do.

Now think about how may times every day, day in and day out you correct errors in a report that possibly could cause harm or disrupt a patient's care, errors VR makes and is incapable of correcting.

[ In Reply To ..]Then I stopped looking at FIESA. Now all I do is log in, work my shift only (no OT) and log out. I work to make myself a paycheck. If they don't like my style, they can fire me. I was looking for a job when I took this one.
Seriously, ignore it. Otherwise you will make youself sick and this place is so not worth it.

I cannot believe what my accuracy percentage is now compared to it always being 100% or just below, I can't seem to make 98% anymore. After doing this for 15 years and then some, I guess I have just gone senile here lately. Some days it upsets me but for the most part I just ignore it. I do go in and check that I have seen it so that I can't get into trouble for not following directions but I just don't let it get to me like it did before

**CHALLENGE EVERY FIESA SCORE** - NOTHING BUT BS AND AUDITOR
[ In Reply To ..]gets written up every time you do. Give them a taste of their own medicine. I was getting hit to the point of being punch drunk. I told my TSM I refuse to put up with that BS and that was all it was. I challenge every single "error" and keep a copy for my own records. Guess what - all of a sudden, the FIESA major/critical errors stopped altogether. My "auditor" got written up so many times for my challenges and my QA score is now to the excellent rate it was before. The Indian auditor ended up looking like a total fool, and it was clear she was using these bogus "errors" to make herself look good.
You gotta hit them where it hurts - otherwise, it just goes on.

[ In Reply To ..]If you are, make sure that little speaker for skipping through silent parts if off on every report. I can't tell you how many times I have forgotten to click that off and gone through again to find words that were skipped over.

In the last month, i've had nothing but in-audible dictation to one degree or another. I just had to send a report with 67...yes.. that's right, 67 QA markers. I've been with this company since 2002, and never have I had such a difficult time with dictators. I have been in business for 30 years and I have never seen things this bad. I am currently out of work, after having steady work for the last 5 or 6 years. Okay, first quarter FIESA reviewed about 80 reports of mine and I actually got my incentive. Now for this quarter, I am wavering on not getting my incentive with a 98.88 and for the past few weeks they have not reviewed a single one of my reports. I smell something fishy. our post-audit reports are randomly pulled. If you score high enough to get the bonus, your reports are gone through by the hatchet queens in India until they can find a report they can "audit" to bring you below 99%. If you are kicked back to 98.99%, they still meet their contract requirements to the client, and Nuance does not have to pay you a bonus. ...

I almost always get my critical errors on one particular doctor who I think I understand and then it turns out I miss something. I think there is a way to do a report on critical errors and see if I can trend the dictator but I can't figure out how. Does anybody know? Much as I dislike FIESA and all this QA, what I really hate is finding out I've been typing something WRONG for 30 years. The only thing I can say for myself is some QA decades ago filled it in for me and I didn't look it up. Been typing Campo's fascia instead of Camper's fascia.
