We're all losing our TLs and they are doing major restructuring for everyone. However, if you are a former Transcender, they are doing a conference call. The rest of us are not included in the call, apparently, or have not been notified yet. Emailed last week and given new structure info. Glad I'm on my way out.

As an MT whose co. was bought out by another, it - means, "The honeymoon is over." -n/m

Strict schedules, benefit changes and pay cuts taking place 1st of year. Timing is eerily reminiscent of a year ago. Best of luck to you all.

Your post had me concerned, but the call was totally noneventful. No changes at all, at least not yet, other than the restructuring.

it lasted. I already see changes in those that are part of the restructuring as they call it. Many managers who shouldn't be. Sad really. Transcend was a nice place for me to work these past 9 years. I've decided I'm done and getting out before we really go flying down hill come January 1.

I haven't received an email about a conference call from my RM. Knew the changes were coming through the pipeline though. The only one I'm looking forward to is the Nuance paydays. Could never understand why Transcend takes so long for direct deposit after pay period closes. Dreading all the other changes. Hope we keep our TL - she is utterly amazing and so is RM. Sighhhhhhhhhhh.

During the conference call they told us how Nuance liked the Transcend business model so much they bought the company... but now we are going to "improve" it, this is an "exciting opportunity" for more one-on-one action with your TL or whatever they call them now. In other words, somebody is going to be up in your sh..t on a regular basis, watch out!!

Here at Nuance, you are lucky if your TL ever responds to any email or IM you send her. My TL's IM status is always, busy or DND or conference, etc. She is never available and rarely answers and email. But she is quick to send an email to you when you didn't add a cc and pended for the cc b/c the tape cut out on who to add, thus granting you a 1.5 point error on your QA. You will "love" the Nuance side of things. Ha, ha.

I have recently learned that I will be losing 3 of my best doctors to EMR. Since then, one of the doctors has offered to keep me on entering the clinic notes into the EMR for him. I hope it is okay. I just need to vent a little. I just got a new job with a very reputable company ( I prefer not to say which one) and yesterday was my first day. I knew I would be on 100% QA. I found out yesterday that I am only allowed to type 3 reports a day until I am off QA. I am so upset. Is it only me or is anyone else losing serious money here? for the past 6 months I have NOT been able to make more than 950 dollars a month take-home. now with the new program my pay is even less. I remember the good old days, when we actually made progress in our jobs ($$$, benefits, etc.). Now, in addition to not getting paid holidays (unless you work them, of course), employers are prorating PTO pay. Again, around 30% of documents with blanks - about my usual reported average. 99% of those documents were due to sound issues and undocumented physician names (not allowed to spell phonetically according to CPs). Again, Shaw, the blanks are not my fault and out of my control. Now, if they would fix the audio issues, I could cut way down on my blanks. I've been using the IT Pro 7 free trial and have created a custom list with it. Instructions to activate IT have you download it, although the paid version is the same as the trial. If I re-download it, don't I lose my custom list? How would I save this to import without corrupting the file? I can't find anyway enter the registration number in the free version and my trial ends in 2 days so need to act fast to avoid losing it. Thanks ...
