I can't take it anymore. Three weeks with more jobs than we could handle and now...... only weekend work with the worst dictators I've ever heard. I DO mean the WORST dictators I've ever heard! I have actually made up NEW cuss words today.. strung together in a most creative way. You wouldn't even believe it. I MUST get off my dead butt and find a real job or go totally insane.. OH... the drama~! But.. really.. $%^*((*&%^**.. I could just freakin' bust!

Are you in southeast region. Same thing happened to me, but now have to start counting and see if there are only 7 left. I have been getting the same ones over and over again, and all come in as stat jobs also.

I feel like I'm stuck in another country and trying to decipher English of some semblance out of garbled accents all day. I have had the worst dictators, no English as a first language all day.

I don't know how much more of this I can take. Think I'm suffering from present-traumatic stress disorder. I want to cry, laugh, rip my hair out and rend my clothes all at the same time.

Me too. Sometimes I want to give up but I keep plugging along. The ASR reports are not how they used to be three years ago when I was first trained on them. Every sentence needs to be reworded or have some sort of maintenence. My hand problems are coming back. I'm so frustrated, all ESL or hard to decipher English doctors.

It just isn't the ESLs..English doctors too. Every single time at a so-called Maintenance. And yet No One addresses the problem. Should be a given. When there's an upgrade or maintenance, there will be a problem...and you will be compensated for it. Somehow..that got written out of the contract.

Sometimes it just kind of ..... stops..... and then catches back up like it took a little nap. The screen never seems to be quite up to the keystrokes, just a little "off." The downloading of jobs is very slow and that friggin' doctor look-up feature really is a bummer. There is no way to make that any faster with all the searching and accepting. I have recently learned that I will be losing 3 of my best doctors to EMR. Since then, one of the doctors has offered to keep me on entering the clinic notes into the EMR for him. I would still be working from home as an IC, but would need some training on their EMR system. Any suggestions as to what I would charge for this? I currenlty bill by cpl. I hope it is okay. I just need to vent a little. I just got a new job with a very reputable company ( I prefer not to say which one) and yesterday was my first day. I knew I would be on 100% QA. I found out yesterday that I am only allowed to type 3 reports a day until I am off QA. I am so upset. Seriously, I honestly do not know what is going on in the western region. It wouldn't be so bad if there was just no work in my BOB and I could ask for more back up accounts from other BOB but the whole western region is out of work! Is it only me or is anyone else losing serious money here? for the past 6 months I have NOT been able to make more than 950 dollars a month take-home. now with the new program my pay is even less. Please, is this happening to anyone else or am I being singled out. no matter what I do I cannot make more than 220 to 250 dollars a week in may paycheck, and am onily getting paid twice a month. Now, in addition to not getting paid holidays (unless you work them, of course), employers are prorating PTO pay. Again, around 30% of documents with blanks - about my usual reported average. 99% of those documents were due to sound issues and undocumented physician names (not allowed to spell phonetically according to CPs). Are they kidding? Who is going to be sending ANYTHING to QA and take a chance of having their pay cut? Especially if it's the beginning of the work week! Yes, the clients will be getting blanks and I know they will be complaining. The Q keeps sending us e-mails telling us to cut down on QA submissions. Are they kidding?
