Accentus soon to be Nuance ....losing our 401K - anon

Just got e-mail from our wonderful HR person that no 401K was deducted in our most recent paycheck. As soon as Nuance bought us, our program stopped :((

Welcome to Nuance...ughhh....I jumped from Webmedx to Transcend to Accentus and it seems I cannot escape :(

This industry has become one long nightmare.

If I didn't have kids that still needed me at their beck and call, I would be out of it in a New York minute.

I gotta say, I think at least we're Apple in terms of the superior technology, so there's that.

I actually like EditScript and am trying to find another position using it, though I know there's always the high likelihood that I'll just eventually end back up with Nuance again through another buyout because of that. Just a brief respite from the hell of Fiesa (and hopefully NJA as well) would still be a little helpful for my sanity, though. ::sigh::

In my previous jobs, you are given an opportunity to rollover your 401-K to another provider (or leave it where it is, if allowed). Nuance has its own 401k program. You should be allowed to sign up for that.

Probity employee swallowed up by Nuance. Got a letter in the mail from Fidelity Investments confirming my enrollment in the Nuance 401K. In case you haven't seen it on the other boards, just announced this morning. Accentus is actually Canadian company. I have to wonder about monopoly laws, but maybe with them being Canadian it won't matter? As a Transcender being taken over by Nuance, I am appalled that we have received no word about anything other than we will start with a time clock. No word about how we will be compensated, only "rumors" which I am sick of. Now I see Accentus is still hiring, advertising and advertising a "holiday bonus". Well, I want a holiday bonus. Has anyone on the clinic side (Formerly Zylomed) of things heard anything at all about some of the things posted here on the Nuance board? That is unfair. They should just advertise under Nuance now. People might jump to the job thinking it is another company, and come to find out it is Nuance. This is false advertising. I surely wish Accentus would quit posting job openings. I get excited whenever I see a good job listing then I see it is Accentus/Nuance all over again. Sheesh.
