Sorry for anyone losing their job, but fair is fair.  They have taken from the MTs until we are scraping the scum off the bottom of the barrell.  If this company so badly needs to shave costs, let them do so at the expense of other job categories rather than all MTs. 

Most companies tend to be management heavy and reductions on that level, whether it be jobs or cutting benefits, reductions in wages, etc. let it happen.  They can't take any more from us.  We all work for the same company, let's share the burden.

My problem is....who are they going to replace them with??? Are the remaining TSMs going to be taking on more responsibilities, or are we going to be stuck with their outsourced TLs??? I mean, are we going from bad to worse as far as the MT is concerned?

I agree that if cuts need to be made, it needs to be across board. I say they fire some executives, and that should be a HUGE cost savings for them. I'd start with any of them who are continually in a board meeting making decisions that they then change at the next board meeting. Trump them all!!!

They aren't going to give us all pay raises now that the TSMs are being cut, so where do you think that money is going to go? Right back to the execs.

TSMs are the only thing we have between us and management. I think they are being fired because they were complaining too much about how the MTs were being treated. Without them, we have even less of a voice than we had before.

Do we know positively that some are being cut? Are they being allowed to step back to MT position? We all know there are plenty of opportunities there as more and more people jump ship. I can't imagine they would want to from a pay point of view, but a job is a job.

Anyone have definite information? Will this info be put out to all?

She was let go completely from Nuance. Now whether or not she was offered a demotion to MLS, I do not know.

culling the herd of management from that company to transfer the people to Nuance people.

Exactly what happened with Webmedx. Very few mgmt left from that takeover. The ones who made it were the ones who had the "N" attitude in the first place.

than it is. It appears it was in ambulatory division which was probably from a buyout and they finally got around to incorporating that company into Nuance. Once that happens, we know it's downhill from there. Happened with my company's buyout and I'm sure many more to come.

Sounds like more than one to me. Another email said they are working on TSM assignments today, and MLS will be notified by the end of the day who their new TSM will be.

How many times does an account have to be moved around with Nuance. No, this is not one of those lightbulb questions. If these people could do their job, they would have thought all this out and made one switch. You can clear out the TSM positions you need to clear out when you first started this "exciting" plan that is quality-based and steps away from punitives. THEN, you rearrange the accounts, and you save yourself the aggravation. Where did these people get their degrees from?

Why is it we, the ones actually doing the work, know how to manage this better than the ones sitting at the conference table do? So another manager, another set of their rules, another upheaval. I'm just now getting into the swing of things with the new TSM, and I think she finally figured out who her go-to people are. Now you're going to switch something up again?

EVERY week it's something new. As I said before, if you want some pay cuts, start with the ones making way too much $ that don't have the common sense to tie their shoe let alone make changes to improve quality.

Oh these people!!!!! They are like bloodsucking vampires....only the ones in Twilight at least were smart!

I've "worked" just about every holiday, and every time I'm told I have to keep checking back, keep checking back, keep checking back when we've run out of work (even though our new policy says otherwise).  But where is my TSM?  I've gone through a couple of those, too, but each time they are no where to be found on a holiday!  Must be nice!  I am so tired of this crap.    ...

As more and more MTs lose their jobs to offshoring, I don't think the TSMs are realizing that they are becoming expendable quickly too - No US MTs mean no US supervisors. The hospitals and clinics will have to talk to India to complain about their reports, dial 1 for English (sort of) and then hold for the next available representative for the next 20 minutes. I hope I get to see the day when MModal stock crashes. ...

told to clock in at beginning when scheduled.  If no work, clock out.  Then it states to check back EVERY 30 minutes.  If there is work clock in and begin working.  When there are no more jobs clock out.  Keep doing this until end of shift.  Isn't this requiring us to be available for 8 hours but unpaid (most likely)?  Doesn't this even go against MModal's current policy on no work available?   ...

we're told internet outage is not acceptable reason not to work and to find alternative such as WiFi, etc. in a not so nice tone.  Now we're told this is NOT acceptable (use of WiFi) as according to company policy.  Make up your mind will ya?  This TSM deserves a critical error deduction for misinformation (and the attitude).   Shouldn't they be required to know company policy before taking on their position?  ...
