Always the same old song and dance. The subject of MTs needing more pay per line comes up, and what does the speaker do? Redirect the focus on all the added "upgrades" to their software they plan to buy (probably for hundreds of thousands of dollars) to "help us be more productive". Got news for them. You can only go SO fast. There IS a limit. And after all the emphasis on accountability and accuracy, do they not see that speed just increases errors? And then that same old story that according to the competition, their pay is above average. Well, tell that to all the creditors that keep calling me asking when I'm going to pay them. If we can't pay our bills, then even pay that is "above-average" in the MT field, is BELOW-AVERAGE compared to the rest of this country. Until Walmart has a special, discounted price just for MTs, then we will continue to state that our pay is NOT ENOUGH.
And finally, the speaker gives us the old "rah-rah" about how great AHDI is, and how they're lobbying Washington in our behalf, and how we really should be members.
Oh, PUL-EEESE. Gag me.
