Has anyone on the clinic side (Formerly Zylomed) of things heard anything at all about some of the things posted here on the Nuance board? Also, other questions are:

1) The only thing I've been hearing for months is that things "on our side" (meaning the Formerly Zylomed folks) will stay the same - that we'll keep our own exclusives, etc. Has anyone else heard that or heard anything different?

2) Does anyone know what will become of current ICs? Will they be offered positions or simply let go?

3) Insurance - How about for folks who will insure only themselves - what can anyone tell me about that insurance rate?

4) With regard to pay, I've taken from reading on here that what folks had been being paid will change and be reduced to something quite a bit less than what we've been being paid. What have any of you Formerly Zylomed'ers heard as far as that goes?

I'm so concerned - and worried... Here it is 30 days from Christmas, nearly time for things to change over at the first of the year, and I personally have heard nothing. I'd love to know what you all might've heard.

your "exclusives" until they can change the customers over to one of the Nuance platforms. Then it will be every man for themself. Pay and benefits will be the first to change and it will be basically overnight. As for insurance, all I can say is the rates tripled and coverage declined over what we had prior. Couldn't afford it so I didn't look at it any further. Good luck! Our chnanges took effect just in time for Christmas. No discussion, just basically this is what it is.

every single rumor we heard ahead of time about the Nuance takeover came true, from the lowered pay rates to the ultra-nitpicky QA that will pick pick pick even a perfect report just to drop your percentage far enough that you will never EVER make bonuses or incentives, micromanaging like I've never seen before. Get out while you still have some self-respect.

In case you haven't seen it on the other boards, just announced this morning. Accentus is actually Canadian company. I have to wonder about monopoly laws, but maybe with them being Canadian it won't matter? There is no place to run....Accentus had its problems, but the insurance was good and I was on an account that was 75% straight transcription, making 10 for straight, 6.5 VR....sigh...time to jump from this sinking ship of transcription :( I do believe in the end it wil ...

As a Transcender being taken over by Nuance, I am appalled that we have received no word about anything other than we will start with a time clock. No word about how we will be compensated, only "rumors" which I am sick of. Now I see Accentus is still hiring, advertising and advertising a "holiday bonus". Well, I want a holiday bonus. That is unfair. They should just advertise under Nuance now. People might jump to the job thinking it is another company, and come to find out it is Nuance. This is false advertising. I surely wish Accentus would quit posting job openings. I get excited whenever I see a good job listing then I see it is Accentus/Nuance all over again. Sheesh. I work for ZM and love it there, but we were recently acquired by Accentus and I hear they are big on VR. Also, the last Emdat update I took showed MModal Editor, which was not in the previous version, so I am wondering if this is the first step to VR at ZM, too.
