I had a job offer from them at 10 cpl for OPS specialty work. We were working through my period of notice that i was required to give to my current employer and upon being ready to start at Zylomed, i was informed my rate of pay had been decided to be 9 cpl...... i was ticked at the unprofessional nature right from the get-go and decided to walk away from the table. draw your own conclusions.

Do not work for this company. They have very poor communication with the MTs. Pay is bad. They are losing accounts. Work is very hard to find. You can go a week or longer with no work. Then they say your work is bad and cut you off when you question them as to why you can't get work. They have done it to several people. But they just turn your Emdat off and don't communicate at all.

Well here is what happened to me... I worked for 4 days, got a grand total of about 1200 lines actually typed, about 1400 lines of "qualified text", decided that working for about $20 per day was not such a good idea, told the manager I was seeking employment elsewhere, then was told that if I did not give 2 weeks notice, I forfeited 1 week of pay.

I work for ZM and love it there, but we were recently acquired by Accentus and I hear they are big on VR. Also, the last Emdat update I took showed MModal Editor, which was not in the previous version, so I am wondering if this is the first step to VR at ZM, too. Just wondered if anyone has any credible information on this. Does anyone know why Zylomed starts you out as an IC and then offers employee status? What does employee status get you? PTO? Benefits? I understand there is no VR, do you know if it is all clinic transcription? Are there any incentives? Has anyone on the clinic side (Formerly Zylomed) of things heard anything at all about some of the things posted here on the Nuance board? Does not sound so good to me...... As of April 16 we are now employees. I have always been an IC. I do not follow a "web clock." I have always just done my accounts by the TAT required and have been left alone. My last 3 audits have 100, 100 and 99%. I am curious what is in store.
