There is now a progressive part time, 30-39 hours, with some benefits and some vacation time accrued. FT as I understand it is now 40 hours/wk.
Any pros or cons for working for this company? I did check the archives, but not much recent. I am open to the good and the bad. Thank you in advance for the suggestions. ...
In case you haven't seen it on the other boards, just announced this morning. Accentus is actually Canadian company. I have to wonder about monopoly laws, but maybe with them being Canadian it won't matter? There is no place to run....Accentus had its problems, but the insurance was good and I was on an account that was 75% straight transcription, making 10 for straight, 6.5 VR....sigh...time to jump from this sinking ship of transcription :(
I do believe in the end it wil ...
As a Transcender being taken over by Nuance, I am appalled that we have received no word about anything other than we will start with a time clock. No word about how we will be compensated, only "rumors" which I am sick of. Now I see Accentus is still hiring, advertising and advertising a "holiday bonus". Well, I want a holiday bonus. I am affraid they are not telling us "facts" just to keep everyone from quitting at on time. ...
Has anyone on the clinic side (Formerly Zylomed) of things heard anything at all about some of the things posted here on the Nuance board? Also, other questions are:
1) The only thing I've been hearing for months is that things "on our side" (meaning the Formerly Zylomed folks) will stay the same - that we'll keep our own exclusives, etc. Has anyone else heard that or heard anything different?
2) Does anyone know what will become of current ICs? Will the ...
Just got e-mail from our wonderful HR person that no 401K was deducted in our most recent paycheck. As soon as Nuance bought us, our program stopped :((
Welcome to Nuance...ughhh....I jumped from Webmedx to Transcend to Accentus and it seems I cannot escape :( ...
That is unfair. They should just advertise under Nuance now. People might jump to the job thinking it is another company, and come to find out it is Nuance. This is false advertising. I surely wish Accentus would quit posting job openings. I get excited whenever I see a good job listing then I see it is Accentus/Nuance all over again. Sheesh. Thanks for listening to my little rant. ...
I currently work for Nuance and am looking for part time work. Accentus is hiring but I heard Nuance bought them out. So, are they still separate and I can apply? or would I in fact be working for the same company? Getting desparate for a PT job as Nuance is not cutting it with having to stick to the 8 hous a day. Thanks ...
Hi! I am currently job hunting and am curious what anyone can tell me about their experiences in working for Accentus has been like since they were bought out in 2012 by Nuance. I searched the archives and most of what I found about Accentus was from before the buyout, and may no longer be accurate information. Thanks in advance! ...
I was just wondering if there are any other Accentus employees who are on pins and needles waiting to hear about our benefits/new payroll changes? First we are told we will hear something last week, then oops, sorry, an e-mail will be sent out with a LINK so we can listen to a RECORDING (are they afraid to speak to us and hear what we think??) and then another e-mail stating sorry, it is not ready yet, but you will still have plenty of time to enroll for your healthcare. Time to dese ...
Anyone not making line count for Accentus? I am making about half required and will have 2 weeks to make line count. Canadian accounts. What happens if I cannot make it, will they let me go?
...
Hi. I haven't been working for Accentus very long, but long enough that I should be meeting the 200 lph requirement for SR, but I'm still really struggling to do it. I was wondering if anyone else had that experience or if maybe I am entering my time incorrectly or something. I consistently average 165 lph for straight transcription so I feel like 200 is something I shouldn't be struggling so hard to meet, but I am. I love Accentus so far so I don't wa ...
I just received a job offer from accentus as well as from NTS. This will be my first position as an MT since graduation. Any advice on what job offer I should take? ...
