That's what I did when I still worked there. I never received a reply, but I at least hope I made them think about it a little.
The problem is your anti virus, not ES - sm

Your antivirus updated and doesn't recognize ES. You need to call tech. Anyone who contacted the hospitals was wrong and needs to rectify it. There never was a virus on ES.
Okay, I'll chalk up 1 dislike as a system error - sm

But a fellow MT comes on here and tries to explain a problem you're having and you dislike it? Some of you posters have such a bad attitude and are so paranoid, there's no talking to you. Goodbye MTStars.
a free-trial antivirus? My current one is expiring very shortly & I cannot afford what they're asking just right now.
Some anti-virus programs will advertise FREE when you google them, then will require you to pay up front. Some will let you upload them and "Save" them, but then won't open or work when you try. Will appreciate any advice. Thx.

I have just spent the better part of my evening waging war against a very pesky and persistent virus called backdoor.cycbot. After several scans in safe mode, I think I finally got it, but now a bunch of my desktop icons are gone and on my start menu, when you click on the program name, there's nothing, just the word "empty." Long story short, I had manually find all my programs through Windows Explorer and creat a shortcut on my desktop for each and every one of them and I stil ...
I am currently attending Andrews School's coding program and I truly do love it. There are still some things that confuse me a bit and sometimes I have wished there were "training" or lecture videos. By taking this course, I have realized that I am a visual learner and have found that just by having to read everything, sometimes I have to go over it and over it to make sense of it, which then sets me back as far as time and then I have to rush to get all of my assignments comple ...
the only company that still provides all equipment, computer, software etc. A lot of other companies want you to not only buy your own computer but software like Word and your own expander. Sigh...... ...
Well good thping I did that extra hour yesterday...my line count was lower than normal even with the hour...would have been horrible without it. Hate unfamiliar accounts. Plus, one of my accounts has gone to a lot of partial dictations. Swear my counts have gone down since then. They come over with practically no ADT that you have to fill in from what info they give...which is time consuming, time I am not being paid for! ...
Is that it has made me not embarrased to talk about "embarrassing" medical stuff. Also, before I became an MT, I wouldn't want to bring up certain things to doctors because I have pretty severe social anxiety and get embarrassed easiliy (haven't I used that word enough times in this post, lol). And while I still have SA, that has completely gone away. MT has helped me see that my body is just a body, and doctors have seen it all before and much, much worse tha ...
May be a good thing that Landmark has ignored my resume. They may not be a good company, I don't know. I have sent a resume with 5 years experience in acute care and clinic, formerly worked at Nuance, have worked on Escription, which is what they want, and they completely ignore both resumes sent. Yet they are still advertising for immediate need for MTs. Doesn't may sense but maybe God's doing me a favor. What's up with that? ...
I would strangle this female doc..I HAVE to have 99.7% accuracy and you have to dictate so freaking fast you cannot even give me the courtesy to complete a word much less a sentence..take your report full of blanks..Im done. I refuse to go into the repository and assume you are saying what is in there. Not gonna happen..And Ill keep sending them through until you figure out how to speak and give me some common courtesy. ...
At least now the QA % will be known before the week we are working. That way, we can better guess how much money we are capable of making that particular week, instead of working hard for a good line count and then having the rug pulled out from under you on Friday afternoon...
Silver lining, anyone? ...
I have limited experience with SR.. did it for a while about 4 years ago. Couldn't make any money on it though. I'm hoping this program is a lot better than the one I used back then and will actually LEARN. Can people make money doing SR now?? Sadly, though, I think this is the future of transcription. ...
variables involved, i.e. FT/PT, working, not working, etc. I'm just looking for a ballpark figure from those who have already completed a program. Thanks for any info! ...
I am in my last semester of an HIT program at my local community college. This program is accredited through CAHIIM. I actually found this program on the AHIMA website as an approved AHIMA coding program and was so excited that it was in my hometown. Well, almost two years later and $4000 in student debt, I still have no idea how to code. Sure, I'm great at Math 101 and English 101 and my anatomy is amazing, but I have no idea how to code. One class that I have ...
I think I may have seen this discussed on here before but I can't seem to find the posts. I am looking for a good line counting/word counting program. TIA for any and all suggestions! ...
What is the best antivirus for the MT profession. I was using AVG. One of the docs got a virus on his PC and when he transferred files to the server, some of us picked up the virus by downloading the files. What is the best antivirus for the cost? ...
Somehow I have gotten this virus on my laptop and when searching for ways to remove it on the internet (on my desktop), all the sites are either extremely comlicated or want you to download things in order to remove it. The problem with downloading is that I can't even get to the internet on my laptop. It blocks anywhere I want to go but brings up constant pages of porn. Any suggestions on how to remove this or do I just need to take it in somewhere???
Thank ...
Having issues with my antivirus and Extext with the install. What is the best protection to use with Extext. I have resorted to AVG which I do not care for...TIA. ...
I just wanted to say how grateful I am for this board. I posted a few weeks ago how I hated Kapersky and how it kept updating while I was working and stalled my computer out. Some great advice was posted on this board about exiting the program and running when YOU want, not when MQ decides to run it and also names of other virus protection programs other than Kapersky (and McAffee which is just as bad). I tried exiting Kapersky which worked okay, but I finally removed it and in ...
I have been using Nortons, but keep having problems. I really don't want to spend more money since I just paid $70 for this and it is giving me problems.
