Cant believe the crap they are dictating today..Must be the solar flare. they make up drug names that could be one of maybe 3 possibilities..Im pretty sure I know which they need but Im not the DOCTOR,,I just play one on the computer..Im leaving the blanks let them figure it out..Do your jobs correctly for a change..Kind of makes you scared to ever have to go to a hospital for anything.

I am so sick of these guys slurring & eating their way through these reports, making up drug names, laughing with the shrieking nurses. Somebody has to be held accountable besides us!!! Sick of being the fall guy!!

Right on...My philosophy is bypass QA and let the offenders fix it - they cant be so God awful stupid and be doctors

Sooner or later if enought blanks get through to them maybe the lightbulb will go off and they will realize it is THEM not us that are stupid..And I love when they freaking yawn and expect that to be typed..If WE dont force a change there never will be..The CCMS wont say anything. If I thought they would I would make a list of frequent offenders..God forbid you tell a doctor they are wrong,,What elevated them to God??

Agree, agree, agree to all! or it sounds like construction going on in the background, papers shuffling, or sitting there flipping pages and not saying anything for 5 minutes. When I was in business for myself, the phone would disconnect if they paused for too long or there was a lot of static or backgound noises. Why don't they do that now, where eventually the dictators will straighten up and fly right.

OMG! I couldn't agree more! I get so sick of US getting blamed when there's a blank. At my last job, we were told not to leave "a lot" of blanks but God forbid we try to figure it out on our own and get penalized for it. Also, I would type 1-hour long reports, only to find that the report itself was about 5 minutes with the rest being the radio, blank space, or the doctor having a conversation with someone. So frustrating.

through my career, have made effort to fill in blanks by researching, etc., typing what I consider proper grammar, etc., but recently got screwed on my audit for doing this... they just want you to type what you hear, exactly as dictated...then, heaven forbid you leave out a word or two that makes no change to the meaning of the sentence, they mark you off like crazy....but raise the score to 99%
