Our local hospital has a new position for HIM Clerk to review medical reports for accuracy. This pays twice what I was making as an editor for a service. I am pleased to say I have found an open door to a job opportunity that is outside of MT work. It is a job that will utilize my experience in healthcare and my medical terminology.
