Failed by 0.15. Got an error for "not following CP" Excuse me! I could not find this tiny exception in the jumble they call the CP. Oops, like, sorry I missed that, but I did hunt for it! I know there is one account in the many I encounter every day that I has this little tidbit waiting to bite you in the rear end. Looking forward to 2 more fails - even though I am in the 99% range. I do not know how I am going to do any better with the sound quality and the horrid ASR I am given. I already slowed down and am less than the minimum line count this past week, and extra time and effort certainly does not improve my accuracy. Gee.... and I was just moved to this group because I had no quality problems. Guess that bit them in the butt. LOL.

1 out of 4 results was 99%, and that dragged down score in which the other 3 reports had scores way above the minimum, including 1 score of 100%! Nothing matters when it comes to effort as I put in maximum effort with every job. If I treated my dog this way, i.e., punishment for 1 out of 4 below "standard", he would never do anything again I asked of him again.

I can't wait until I am out of here! I'm counting every minute of the next 2 months. Only hope I will be successful in getting my foot in the door!

Scores of 99.9% and 100% just don't cut it if you have 1 99% - never perfect enough

LOL "Standard" is 99.6%, but they carry the value out to the hundredth percentage point, but their standard is only out to the tenth. Scientifically speaking, there is a big difference between carrying out a value to the hundredth measurement value versus the tenth measurement value. I know, I used to work in science until I got stupid and thought I wanted the freedom to work at home 30 years ago.

audited every single week. I have passed but it almost gives me the feeling they are trying to catch me slipping up. I have never been chosen for a supposedly random until a few weeks back. weird.

Even though we know how good we are at this job, it's a kick in the teeth to see your work picked apart. It destroys your confidence and makes you feel worthless. I'm going to say try not to let it get to you, but I know that's easier said than done.

But try anyway! Keep your chin up! We're all in the same (sinking) boat!

To add to all this, my supervisor sent me an e-mail saying she went into Ultipro and put into my record "corrective action." Now it will be very hard to get another job. I failed another audit, and a lot of this was just leaving blanks. What was I supposed to do? Guess what the blank is?

not even worry about corrective action. I have lots of them. I was looking in there the other day and my previous supervisor put one in there for me not having work. LOL I really don't think that will affect you getting work. When an employer calls them, they just give dates you worked.

The CPs are horrible...so hard to find what you are looking for quickly. There has to be a better way to list things that can be seen right away. I'm sure there are things we all miss all the time just because we can't find if they want it a certain way.

Sounds like my story: Last 4 years on very difficult accounts with no quality issues, then moved to a new account, audited after working on it for 24 hours and immediately put on 100% QA at which point I quit. Would not work at 3 cpl less for any amount of time (it's supposed to be OK because it's "not permanent." Wonder how the manager would feel if they did that to her.

bull because there is no way the offshore employees are consistently passing the same audit at 99.6%. I know because I frequently have to fix their mess. That said, I am also seeing a lot of pretty serious errors in prior reports done in US... and I mean real ones like meds and labs... and it is kind of alarming. They are getting what they pay for, I guess. Meanwhile, those of us who actually care about our quality (and read our QA feedback and audit mails!) are the ones getting shoved around, paid pennies because the harder we work, the less we earn. Not a good plan, MMODAL...

This is happening to me now. Just a matter of time before they find something. I'm not perfect, but I do my best to be accurate with what I have to work with, and all of you know how that can be. I sometimes feel like I've been through a few rounds in the ring with Fluency at the end of my shift. I literally feel like I've fought with it, making adjustments for sound quality over and over, making adjustments for sizing of the text because it keeps going off the page and I can't even see what I'm trying to edit, trying to get to prior reports, but it just takes too long for Fluency to download them. I'm exhausted just thinking about doing this again tomorrow...And this is not going to change. It's all about strategy on their part.

I was just this minute wondering about that and I really doubt they get audited, because I keep seeing the same errors over and over. I can tell they don't read my feedback (I'm an MME) but they might actually pay attention to an auditor.

I handled the low pay and the garbage work and everything else they threw at me, but the monitoring of keystrokes and the incessant auditing (even though I never failed one) drove me to quit. I was spending far more time making sure to please an auditor than I was trying to please the client (who never complained). I got so paranoid I finally decided enough was enough and when a job came up for a local clinic, I applied. As a postscript the new clinic thinks I am amazing and when I was evaluated after a year the rest of the office got 3%, but my supervisor told me that the doctors wanted to give me more than that. Take THAT M-Modal auditors!!!!!!! The raise was nice since I had not had one in the 10 years I was with MQ/MM, but the validation of my worth literally made me cry.

There's nothing that makes you feel better than knowing your hard work is appreciated. Congratulations to you for finding a job where they recognize your worth and reward you for it!

I also had a job where every email was a criticism. I started to feel stupid and incompetent. And then I found a job where they love my work, they tell me they wish they had more MTs like me, and praise me for having a sharp eye when I catch a discrepancy. I don't imagine I'll be lucky enough to get a raise (things have really changed in this biz) but at least the attaboys are a big help and make me want to do a good job for my company. Cudos to you for getting the raise you deserve!

I keep seeing this commercial on TV for insurance where the girl says "insurance companies - news flash. Nobody's perfect." I can't help but think I hope someone from Nuance is watching, preferably those idiots who mark off for dumb picky BS when doing QA. just shows which people are getting the gravy work while I'm drowning in the muck. The people sharing the nightmare accounts I'm on will NEVER be able to have zero blanks or even a perfect score considering the putrid garbage we're trying to hear and interpret, while obviously there's a nice little list of lucky people getting things they can hear & I'm sure able to make a lot more money as well.
