Needs 7 years experience, scan entire report and leave feedback for 1.40 per report?? And we all know how lengthy those reports can be..... are they really hoping to get any resumes?? Good Luck!

Knew an MT who was making 1.25 a year prior to their $0.85 cents. Lee Perfect was paying 6 cents per 65-character line way back when. So, the $1.40 is a different way of calculating that sounds suspicious. Maybe not, but a red flag.

Anyone know the story behind Lee Perfect and KS. Heard someone left Lee Perfect with one of their Big Ortho accounts and brought it to Keystrokes. That seems illegal. Wonder if that is true?

I do know that the two owners talk to each other from time to time. I used to work in the LP office and know that they are friendly, so I doubt anything like that happened.

I know that Keystrokes pays around $1.15 for radiology and the $0.85 is probably VR editing. I prefer the editing, and I make more than regular rad. I do think, however, that radiology is disappearing because of Powerscribe. I used to work for LM, the owner of LP, and it was a nightmare. How can you do HIM or clinic by the report?

.10/line. I did plastics, OB and ortho. I worked in downtown Chicago at the time, I knew the owner. They were disorganized at that time and had a tiny office. I moved and heard the owner remarried and lived in the suburbs. No one I know of was paid by the report at LP. I went from $1.25/report to far - far less at KS.

I was on an account that paid by the minute. When KS acquired MTS, I asked to move off the account I had been on and was put on another one, still on it since 2011. Most of the time, it works in my favor by the report, really in my favor.

I don't know anything about Lee Perfect at all.

Not every radiology account is per report at KS. - just saying. NM

I have over 15 years as an MT. I think I'm pretty darn good after all these years. Perfect? No. But darn good. Anyway, my thorn in the side is whenever I test for a new MTSO lately my test score comes back at 86%. WTH? I keep seeing this commercial on TV for insurance where the girl says "insurance companies - news flash. Nobody's perfect." I can't help but think I hope someone from Nuance is watching, preferably those idiots who mark off for dumb picky BS when doing QA. just shows which people are getting the gravy work while I'm drowning in the muck. The people sharing the nightmare accounts I'm on will NEVER be able to have zero blanks or even a perfect score considering the putrid garbage we're trying to hear and interpret, while obviously there's a nice little list of lucky people getting things they can hear & I'm sure able to make a lot more money as well. In Word Perfect, to count characters, you click on properties, word count, and then do you just add up the top two things, Characters and Words, taking that total and dividing by 65?
