1. Expect to feel proud of your career choice again.
2. Expect your family and friends to be proud of you for no longer being exploited the way you are.
3. Expect to enjoy going to work every day.
4. Expect to be able to pay your bills on time and even have a little left over to do whatever you want with.
5. Expect to feel a sense of security in knowing that you will be able to take care of yourself.
6. Expect to make some new friends and even have someone to share your mealtime with.
7. Expect to be given a pat on the back for a job well done.
8. Expect your income to go up, not down.
9. Expect to be shown appreciation during MT week.
10. Expect to look at your future with optimism again.
These are just a few things that have happened to me since I left. When you know that it cannot get any worse than it is, you are ready to leave. I knew that no matter what happened at my new job, I would NEVER work for these people again so there was nothing to lose. It has been the best thing I have ever done. Trust me, I worked here for a long, long time so I know the feeling you all have about the uncertainty of starting a new job. Once you leave and see the other side, you won't regret it. I am just thankful I got out before I lost everything. Working here was like dying a slow death. Things in the workplace have changed. The dress code is more casual. Most places won't put up with the office politics, either. Those people will be let go. Look at it this way. Even if you leave and it doesn't work out for you, these services will always be here to work for. I pray every day that I am never in that situation again. Good luck to all of you.

My CCM recently sent out an email and in it she said we had lost some team members, I think meaning some had quit. I felt so happy for them. There is life after MM, thanks for helping me remember that.

Sorry QC was put on the grid and suffering losses (like we have), but from my point of view the more of them leave, the more work left for us. Isn't that horrible we are reduced to feeling that way about our co-workers??? I feel set up for failure by not getting consistent hospital accounts and never having a chance to learn a specific account. Just wanted to add my voice to the growing chorus of long-timers leaving the Q finally. The account I worked on for 15 years just up and vanished Monday - without a word to any of us. I applied for, and got, a job offer within minutes of sending my resume. My wages are half what they were hourly only 4 years ago (VR for me is not profitable). The account specs get more and more complicated and you have to work on at least 5 or 6 accounts to keep work.
