Hi, I applied for a job at MModal. I am only looking for part-time work to help supplement some of my income. I also work for another company subcontracting. Can anyone tell me what to expect as far as how they contact you, how long, etc.? Thanks in advance.

[ In Reply To ..]That is not true - Been with MM for 6 months and have only had NJ about 5 times total - in fact have worked OT almost continuously for the last 3 months. Wish people would stop complaining about NJ - kinda your own fault for not pushing your supervisor or their supervisor to get you more work...

If you need or want to supplement your income, I would try to get a part-time job in your community, if possible. I know not everyone is able to work outside the home, so that may not be possible for you; but in the current MT climate, it would be wise to have some other type of work you could branch out into, if needed, in the future.
I would work at Burger King part-time. Probably - make more money.

After 20 years of hospital-based HIM transcription, they gave us away to Medquist. I feel set up for failure by not getting consistent hospital accounts and never having a chance to learn a specific account.
