PTO rate - omg

Has anyone noticed an unfamiliar rate in the ultipro system when viewing your pto hours available? Mine is way off unless they dramatically dropped my PTO pay rate without me knowing yet. I have not received the dreaded 6th months pto rate change for january in the mail. I contacted payroll and waiting for a response back.

PTO on Schedule Source and UltiPro don't match either, so I don't know how much I have and am having to use 8 hours today because of the holiday, which I didn't exactly want to.

the PTO on my pay stub did not match schedule source and ultipro either. I will question this also but I figure schedule source was right because my paystub listed 40 hours which I know cannot be right although considering how much pto i have used in the past because of NJA 40 hours sounds better! I am feeling sick to my stomach if they tell me the rate for pTO is right. I had so much trouble with my computer due to the upgrade that I had to have a new computer sent to me and I am thinking this is the only way I could have such a low rate. I agree with you...depressing, big time.

All I know is I see a total on check stub and go by that!

I cant even figure out how they pay me, and the new check stub--- forget about it! There are no line counts on there even!

when I only make minimum wage, they don't show the amount of lines on my paystub...just the number of hours...

I was just on ultrapro or whatever they are calling it and I found a section to see what we are compensated at for PTO and the rate there is what I am currently paid out..so maybe I was freaking out for nothing. Too many changes here..why can't they just let it be. My morning has been very slow also and I just checked the backlog and it does not look promising for today. Hope things look better for you the rest of the week.

not having worry from day to day how I'm going to pay the next utility bill, or if there's going to be another ding in our pay/benefits that month. Not to be rich, not to be paid too much for doing very little (like those higher-ups, who shall go nameless....), but just to be paid fairly in exchange for my hard work, not continually cheated and undervalued. I don't think I'm asking too much.

What a shock to wake up this morning and realize the almighty "Q" has just sent me hurling into bancruptcy! I recently read a job posting that required 150 lph for straight type and 225 for VR - Does this make sense ? These companies are using the excuse that we should be able to produce "twice as many lines" with VR - thus - HALF the pay. On a report to us today that someone had a 700+ LPH rate. When I questioned it, I was told that they didn't know how that could be either, it was on the management report they got. If QC is over 10%, then the pay is 7/3.5 pennies a line. If it's that amount and the speed is just about 100 lines or a little over that an hour, I think that would amount to below minimum wage, wouldn't it? So I think the 7/3.5 pennies a line pay rate automatically is equivalent to MUP--unless the MT is very speedy. 7/3.5 pennies a line pay rate is pretty ridiculous. During this transition time I was trying to decide between IC status and employee status. I was doing this because I thought that being an IC would save my 1/2 cpl decrease that you get with employee status. However, in my packet, my rate is now 9 cpl, down the 1/2 cpl as mentioned, but the choices were still FT, PT or IC. I know a lot of us wonder what the reason is for PT status MTs to lose 1/2 cpl. We have been told that it is because at some point we could possibly switch to FT.
