No more helper pools starting September. - want work

I get so many accounts that I don't know whether they are helper accounts or not. Just when I give a sigh of relief because I have had steady work since the layoffs, looks like they are going to pull the rug out again. My pay is pitiful, but I need this job until January when I finish school and hopefully get a job.

Can you tell me where you learned this? I "unsubscribed" to all MModal propaganda emails, so I never see the "good stuff" any more. Was this a corporate email or something you heard from your TSM? Thanks in advance. This place is a filthy toilet in need of a good flush of management! TIA

shift, have to get permission from TSM and put in swap board request. And she doesnt foresee any more lay offs in the near future, and no the company goal is not to get rid of us. Oh, and they haven't sent any more work overseas for the last 8 months. That was the best (??) laugh of the whole thing.

to clock out after 6 min NJA and stay logged in to see if work picks up and finish shift. Have to clock out and take PTO or no pay. Can use swap board to pick up work IF that shift does not put you in OT. What a load of crock! Already have my resume out for other jobs away from MT!

policy for NJA is on the MM intranet. You HAVE to log out after 6 minutes and you then have 3 choices: take PTO, make up time later, or take the rest of the day off without pay. DO NOT LET YOUR TSM GET AWAY WITH THIS!!! She/he's lying to you. Good luck!

Is your TSM JL by any chance? The "tone" sounds familiar. The joke is on them as that swap board never, ever worked so this will blow up in her face! Shine them on and do what you want. what are they going to do, fire you? Bwahaha!!! Now that they over-fired/exterminated/let go/released, whatever word they are using this time they are understaffed and desperate. They created this boat full of holes, now let them bail it out or sink.

Apparently some "valuable" full time employees quit when they did not have enough work and that added to the high work levels now. Haha! They were just lucky enough to see the future and get another job while they could. I hope I join them with a new job of my own soon and I can wave bye bye to MMoral! I am not going to be tied to this computer 24/7 trying to get my lines/hours.

I spent the day tracking down the right person to speak to regarding this new policy. Turns out, according to Federal Dept. of Labor Wages and Hours person (at least the one in Nashville, Tenn) that the OOW is legal even if not fair. Well I asked her to send me a copy of the ruling which she did and it is most ambiguous. So the fight is still on! Hope you have signed the petition.

It has become obvious that a company is putting us in work pools, NOT to get improved TAT, but to either play favorites or to give the primo/better dictators to the MTs who cannot handle the crappiest dictators.  I have noted that I have had the same lousy dictators over and over again, no matter what time of day I work or which days of the week.   I never seem to get the ones that I consider better dictators, nor do I seem to be getting the long consults (which I also like).  ...

As of late, I am wondering.  They are nice and all, but my primary account has been running out of work.  I purposely work 2nd shift knowing a lot of people want to work days and all so I can avoid the lack of work issue.  It just seems weird.  The account I work on is pretty regular and easy to predict when they are going to dictate and lately it seems like not much of anything or when there does seem to be a good amount of work, it seems like it all magically disappears.&nb ...

If you don't like those panels on the side of your text screen showing, you can drag the right and left margins of text screen to widen the text screen.  You can also drag the upper and lower margins.    You can enlarge the size of the font and change the style of the font (which only will change it on your end, not the client's end).  I am not in the program right now, but I think it is under Tools at the top, then click on the tabs to see which one has the font ...
