Anyone else at Acusis starting to wonder if their - line counts are being tampered with?

When hired on with another company and doing the same amount of hours my line count SOARED. I definitely believe they were messing with the line count.

Id give my eyeteeth to find a way to nail em for it. - Cant survive on the pittance they pay.

Any time I have worked for a company, I have compared the line counts on a few reports to my own line counting software and it has come up right on the mark. I just copy and paste the document into a new Word document and counted it using my own program. I feel like it is my responsibility as an IC to makes sure I am getting paid as promised. That software is not that expensive and is the reassurance I need. Just a thought.

I start getting 10 line reports and have to work my butt off to make my lines, or just end up with no work available.

Exact same thing is happening to me. I think India - is getting more and more of our work. (nm)

Remember how they used to pay for everything? Headers, footers, et al? Then they stopped paying for page headers/footers, then stopped paying for paragraph headers. Did they tell us? No. And now, come to find out all the normals are no longer getting paid. I spent the last few days documenting, couting lines both manually and with my own line counter, and surprise! Exactly the number of lines in each normal is what's missing. And did they tell us about that, either? No.

LITTLE WONDER WE'RE MAKING NO MONEY!

No other profession in the medical field - scrubbing toilets, what a shame.

I have seen some posts where people want to know about Acusis. I will tell you what I know and about my recent experience with them. The Human Resources person, Susanna Sovek,is located in Pennsylvania. My supervisor was located in California. The IT folks are in India and the CMT's are all over the place.
