MModal E-mail Question - Weary

Does anybody know if there is a bell, whistle, ding-dong, whatever on MModal's e-mail? when one arrives? I keep it reduced on my screen and sometimes I am waiting for a response on somethiing and it gets tiresome checking every 5 minutes. (We don't use IM in the region I'm in.)

I've never seen a way to activate a feature like that. Does the MModal email just come in for you? For me, I have to refresh the page to even know if something's come in.

I generally have to "refresh" the page when I just have it reduced on my screen, though a couple of times a new e-mail was there when I didn't refresh. Perhaps it checks every so often or something and I hit it right when I expanded the screen.

My Outlook Express, on the other hand, ding-dongs me when something comes in. I have it set to check every 30 seconds, I think. I don't like that MModal e-mail, but at least my personal e-mail doesn't get clogged up with work stuff.

I wouldn't want to use my personal email for work either. Just checking my email would be depressing.

They really need to improve the corporate email system though. It takes forever just to load the thing and check all the mail. I don't have the best download speeds, but certainly not slow enough to warrant the time it takes on their site.

you have to refresh it manually within 120 minutes or it will time out automatically.

A lot of the e-mails I get show up in one long line that stretches far to the right-hand side of my computer screen. I used to be able to drag a bar across the bottom to see the whole thing, but now I can't, so I only get to read a short portion of the message. (The bar is there, but the colored part of the bar stretches across my whole screen, so I can't actually move it.) Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know what I can do about it? ...

I cant get signed on yet again..normally takes a while for it to load normally..Then I go to the windows mail (which wont let me send a message) and that gives some kind of message about mail not loading..you would think a HUGE company had a better email system..really not a very hard thing to set up... ...

Not that I really WANT to hear from the Q, but am I the only one who does not have e-mail still? I can log into MQ Central fine, click the "my community" button, and the regular e-mail page does come up but with only four boxes at the top (no e-mail list). Doubt he will even read it but if he does, it was nice knowing all of you. I did not use any bad language, but I did speak my mind. Okay, it is 8 p.m. Friday night. Just checked e-mails. Noting my CCM sent one out at 4 p.m. Little concerned as to its content. I cannot access my web e-mail. I believe there was an upgrade happening this week (thought today). Now they want user name and password. from a supervisor with a typo or a word spelled incorrectly or misuse of a word. I want so much to send a reply stating "Failed audit!" And where does the doctor's responsibility come in? I can't believe how poor some of their grammar is and how they mix up genders throughout the report. It's unbelievable how much we have to correct to make them look good. And how many times do they mix their singular and plural tenses? I just wonder how many reports from any given transcriptionis ...
