Does anyone know of companies hiring regular clinic transcription i.e. chart notes etc for OB/GYN, internal medicine, pediatrics? I see lots of adds for hospital work, but for those of us who don't enjoy the hospital accounts, it would be nice to know of companies who do straight clinic typing. Any help is appreciated. There are, generally speaking, fewer WTs to clinic accounts, and these get readied for off-shoring rather quickly. But honestly, the goal is to offshore as much as possible whenever possible, so EVERYONE at Nuance can expect to starve or take on new and different accounts CONSTANTLY. with 1 other girl, and then the QA girl types on this clinic also. I still have not figured this out. We keep the work caught up and this QA girl gets on there and types with us when there is nothing to type. I mean there can be 10 jobs there and she will get on to help us type 10 jobs. Has anyone started to get more work in the last year (in a clinic setting)? It was steady for me a few years ago, and now I am overwhelmed with the amount of dictation I have!!
