I sent you an email, I hope you don't mind. I am Spheris too, and I think we might be working on the same account, as my volume is down, too. That didn't take long for them to load our platforms onto MQ MTs computers.
I have no new platform - just a new hospital system

It may take awhile. I've never replied by email to anyone, so I don't know how it works or much about it. The account I work on is in Cornerstone too, but it is in ND. I have 2 other accounts that I work on too, and they are down in volume too, so who knows's what's going on.
It's going Global already - Spherite

80% of all work is to be turned over to them by the end of the year:(
This may be a dumb question, but - MarineMom

What if more than 20% of our Spheris accounts refuses to have their work shipped to India? I know at least 2 of the 3 hospitals I type for will not allow their work to go to India. Will they just go behind their back anyway?
They will probly convince them with big $$ - savings incentives ! NM

with some accounts is they approach the clinics/departments associated with that hospital and try to get them individually outsourcing to ILP at a MUCH LOWER SERVICE RATE. For those still not willing to outsource, they will try to get them to OK it for just the transcription but then have all reports 100% QA'd by the USA side.
From what I've heard, the later part is usually what gets the unsure ones to OK the ILP work as they tend to be most concerned with report inaccuracies that can come with using an ILP.
If they're anything like Cbay, they'll send them anyway. - nm

I work in Clarity, but in the last couple of weeks, work volume is waaaay down on the days we have full coverage (T,W,Th). Made decent money with Spheris. In the tank with the Q. Haven't even made my 6000 lines this week. :-(
Not to mention they fired my wonderful CCM.
Uh, huh. Now that's what we're talkin' about. - anonymous
To anyone working on a Spheris account: Can you tell me if there is a location to go to check lines typed. I mean, how do you keep track of your lines. I have repeatedly asked CCM and just cannot get an answer. ...
I had an interview with Spheris yesterday. It sounds too good to be true - more per line than I'm making now, plus production bonus and weekend shift differential? And better insurance too. Okay. I worked for MQ. My check got smaller and smaller as they revamped the bonuses and brought in VR (which absolutely refused to be taught anything). So tell me the truth - would I be jumping back into the same fire with Spheris? ...
1. Now that we are not using Outlook for e-mail anymore (I can only assume since I do no get e-mails there anymore), what will happen to all the e-mails I have saved with valuable account spec information? Are we always going to be able to access that information?
2. I know eventually we will no longer be using the Spheris Intranet page. I notice also that line counts are totally screwed up basically all the time now. Are we still going to be able to get line count ...

how is the platform. I know people have negative comments about them but are there any positive ones. I would only try it PT and IC. Not sure that would work out or not. ...
is that correct? If so, are CB and DF still involved? I love Bayscribe, and I was thinking about biting the bullet and applying to Nuance for some PT work, but I kind of butted heads with the 2 ladies and so I don't want to waste my time. Thanks for your input. ...
Hey Spheris MTs out there. I worked for Spheris for a while not too long ago but quit for another company. Nothing wrong with Spheris at all, just love the new company flexibility much, much more. I loved the expander program Spheris used (Shorthand 10.0) so much that I ended up buying the program to use on my new job. Problem is there are so many tips and tricks that Spheris provided for using Shorthand 10.0 that I never got to put into action and quit before I thou ...
my friend claims she only made $11000 with spheris last yr. but yet she had health benefits and 401K. how is it she's making so little is spheris really that bad of a company to work for . i've heard so many different stories i don't know what to believe anymore ...
Should we have a W2 from MQ as well as from Spheris? Was just putting my info together to have taxes done & don't understand the 2 from Spheris but noticed I don't have one that says MQ.
Thanks in advance. ...
Had nightmares about my company last night. I was told to go in the office of my boss and do some punishment work. I sat there in front of this blank computer, would not turn on, and something said to sit in her chair, since she was not there, and start opening all the books and do the worksheets about what a bad person/MT I was. Then, she popped up in the back of the office in black. Scary, evil woman! She said terrible things, and just as I kept telling myself thi ...
Is there anyone out there who has worked for Spheris and other large companies? If so, how does Spheris compare? Looking for other opportunities, but don't want to end up in a worse situation :) In particular, has anyone worked for both Spheris and Webmedx?
thanks ...

By closing the curtains on its finances, Spheris has opened the door to speculation regarding its future. Whispers range from a sale to a bankruptcy, with the former gaining steam in the past week after a blogger in India reported competitor Cbay Systems Ltd. had struck a deal to buy Spheris’ operations in that country.
Both Spheris and Cbay declined to address the potential sale. Spheris has ...
I'm not sure if this is a good move for me, especially after reading an article on them that was linked from this board. Recruiter says they have loads of work, but they seem really regimented. Anyone work for them and want to share? Thanks. ...
