How to calculate time worked in TeamWork - Tired MT

Have recently switched to full time, so need to understand how to calculate my hours so I don't go over 40 each week. So far, it is clear as mud to me. For example, I worked 3 hours and 6 minutes and the clock showed 3:10 hours. Another time I worked 3 hours and 13 minutes, and the clock showed 3:22 hours. Makes no sense to me.
If someone can help me understand this, I would be very appreciative. TIA

[ In Reply To ..]Teamwork shows minutes as decimals of an hour. Therefore, 3 hours and 6 minutes is 3.1 hours. It's showing you a decimal, 3.1 not 3:10. Same for 3 hours and 13 minutes. It's 3.22 hours because 13 minutes out of 1 hour (13 divided by 60) is 0.22 of an hour.
Take your minutes, divide by 60, and you get your decimal.
For example:
15 minutes is 0.25
30 minutes is 0.5
45 minutes is 0.75

Just fill in the decimal time you have in Teamwork, and then click on convert decimal time to hour, minute, and seconds.
I've added this to my Favorites and use it all the time - has saved me a ton of headaches...

I was always told decimal # x60, - mt

Just wondering- Do they take your lines and half the speech lines and THEN divide that by your hours and get your LPH OR do they take your total speech and typed lines first and get your LPH , then divide the speech lines in half? I've been logging in and out all day and every time I log in there is NJA. I can see in the back log that our region is wiped out. So, when I'm in Teamwork, do I list my shift as "excused absence no work" or "PTO unscheduled", if I want to be paid for my shift?
