Read below, many "mandatory" schedule changes. I got the email on Monday, with the change being crazy and not doable, so sent email back saying I was officially giving my two week notice. I haven't heard a word from her. I have 7 working days left and I'm out of here. Fortunately I can do that, but we will have to tighten our belts. It is the straw that broke this camels back. Loved what I did, but this company sucks. There was no other way to get rid of those of us that meet all their requirements.

I did. I'm sending out resumes. I've had it with that nasty - schedule person. NM

screwing with everyone's schedules. You can't tell me this isn't all intentional. And it's working because so many are quitting. I know I'm planning to quit over this.

I've had my hours changed twice in a little over a week - even after begging them not to do it as I take care of my invalid mother during the day (worked at 3:30 in the morning) but they didn't care, said to check back every 2-3 months to see if there's an early shift! I can't quit, #1 I'm too old and #2 there are no jobs where I live, #3 no other money coming in. Found "temporary" help with my mother, hope it continues.

They are heartless. One word: Karma. - nm

I am just wondering what happened with the POD. It seems like our hours were fine until they did that last change. Not happy here either.

It sounds like we have all once again been chewed up and spit out. My hours have changed. They have taken so much from us all that there will be many leaving, and that is a fact for sure. I am sorry all of us are going through this. I dread this new platform. I keep putting off the download because of it hampering our lines that they expect us to produce. On one hand you must have the schedule change, but on the other hand you must have that line count per day, and the schedule change, and oh yes, the unrealistic QA score we are to maintain. I am weary, just so weary of it all.

This makes no sense. You are already working in the hours blocked off in need of help. There is something behind all of this. They are hiring for the hours I have been working too, with a 99% quality. They want to get rid of some of us for some reason only known to them, by trying to force us out. What will they do when those without the option to leave continue to stay? I'm very sorry for what this company is doing to you and the rest of us.

To see that they are hiring for your shift is ridiculous. Although, your TSM will probably say that hire will be for some other group, whether or not that is true. On the other hand, if they are hiring for your shift in another group, you should be giving first choice to change. It all stinks like a bucket of rotten fish.

you work..are all the mandatory changes for MT's who work during the day? I've heard nothing about mandatory changes in my POD. They did ask for voluntary schedule changes a while back and I've heard nothing about it since.

I worked evenings and was basically moved to - late night.

I think they moved those of us on the afternoon/evening shift into a evening/night shift and moved the day shift into afternoon early evening hours.

Long story short, they moved us all out to a later shift.

Apparently schedule changes weren't enough and we are still horribly out of turn around time Friday/Saturday.

I suspect they are going to push a lot of us into that Saturday shift and I for one cannot or will not do it. That is the ONLY common day I have off with my spouse.

Why not just hire some part-timers willing to work Fri/Sat? I guess that would be too sensible.

I got that email the other day as well. It's getting ridiculous. I volunteered reluctantly back at the end of December when they "threaten" to take further action... Now they want us to change to something even worse.. I'm not doing it.. I'm not in a position to quit, but if they are boo-hooing over needing people to change their schedules again, they would be complete morons to fire somebody over not changing their schedules, but if they want to fire me over it, they can and I hope I can get unemployment..as according to the one email we got in December, it would be considered that work is available, but we were refusing to work scheduled shift. Any thoughts?

All headers are now no longer counted in the line count. We're already out of work most of the time and now this. We don't get paid for cc's that we add or all the info on the pt before we ever start typing. I'd say when we do have work they're getting a lot of free work from us. ...

There probably have been answers to my question out here before, but does anyone know what causes the formatting in an EditScript document of which I am either editing or transcribing?  It tabs, bolds, changes font sizes, and messes up the spacing between lines.....things I did not manually do myself.  Is there something I should be changing on my RTF? I've talked with several MTs recently who work for different companies. The companies have to send out reminders to the MTs that they are supposed to be at work at specific times. Since Saturday when the new pay plan went into effect, I've gotten nothing but the worst of the worst doctors on this account.  Most of these I've only gotten a few times in the past (luckily), but now that is all I am getting.  What happened to the regulars I used to get before Saturday??
