Ok we all got the email from our new CEO. But if you go all the way down to the bottom of the page he gives an email address and encourages us to send our questions, ideas and concerns. Anybody going to really tell this guy what's going on at MedQuist these days? And what exactly does Ask the Set mean??

Sure. I used to send emails all the time to the past 2 dozen CEO's, CFO's and any of the revolving door cheeses. Deal is, nothing is going to be done about nothing. I was wondering how MQ was going to cut wages again. Figured they exhausted all ways to do so. Hey, don't forget MQ's committment to the MT/ME so MQ executives can earn a very nice living. Don't forget to work your butt off for "career advancement" too. Advancement right to home foreclosure and/or a nervous breakdown (not being facetious here). This company is nothing short of evil.

Well I have already emailed the new CEO at HIS email address sm - mqmt

and he (maybe) responded. He does not talk out of both sides of his mouth like most CEOs do (and politicians). He said and I "the people are the critical assesst of the company."

He didn't understand what I meant when I said we all took a pay cut and he got hired and the merger will happen.

He admitted our KLAS rating was not perfect. Not sure how that works but anyway I responded to his email telling me if he really feels we are the critical assest to the company, then he needs to do something to raise morale and treat us as though he appreciates us!

That email address at the bottom probably goes to a bunch of people who sit there and do nothing by respond to complaints and know nothing.

Just thought I would let you know I've contacted him already. Just can't keep my big mouth shut.

I thought email was for EVERYONE, but - NOT MTs, we are scum between their toes,NM

something like "correction to previous" email regarding line rate increase. At first I thought, okay, that virtually nil line raise WAS a mistake and now they will be giving us a more reasonable raise. Nope, it was the same exact amount.
