doing this more years than I'd like to count and have never failed an official audit in my life, much like many of you I'm sure, before they started this ridiculous 99.7%, when the entire industry standard is and always has been 98%. They can lay me off if that's their goal because I'm hoping to qualify for TAA or whatever it is called & get into a completely different field if it comes to that, but I'm not quitting!

Mine is 99.6% average. I got dinged every which way to Sunday. Some I justly deserved I will say. But if you slow down like they want you to, then you get harrassed about your line count. Then, there is no addressing the issue of audio quality which sucks, dictators who can't speak English, etc ad nauseum. I'm ready to nuke the place myself.

They must follow the process in order to FIRE you. Causing you to quit is easier on them, so that would be a far quicker process for them. If they were to have a lay off, then they would have to pay some kind of severance package, wouldn't they?

a single noncritical typo, I don't bother to respond either. Why dignify it when all of us, save the suits, know it's a joke... I feel pretty sure the QCs sending this stuff out probably think it's pretty ridiculous too, but they're just doing what they're instructed to do.

May want to save some reports to your computer, before and after you fix the ASR. Remove patient's names, of course, dont want to violate HIPAA..But someone will need to see the absolute failure of ASR to fight for U/E. I talk to people all the time that say I see that Dragon Speak on TV and the docs are using it. Then I tell them the stuff I see and they are amazed. Also, with the lawsuit below, cant hurt either

to show how the incompetence of VR. I copied the job before I started editing (but took out header/pt info), did my editing and then copied it again when I was done. Everyone I had shown them to is amazed the company was still in business....should have listened to them then LOL. They knew what was coming.

I have since quit this company, am having a bit of a struggle in finding a new position, BUT that is soooo much less stressful and aggravating than trying to pep myself up to turn on my computer every night knowing what I was heading for. I have much more control over searching for a job than letting MMoral beat me down every night.

Hi, I am new to the independent contractor thing, but shouldn't a company that has "hired" you as an independent contrator have your SS and a 1099 filled out by you? Just wondering as it seems to me this is necessary and since it is not being done, it makes me wonder about this company that much more, espcially since others have stated they have not been paid by this company. I guess if they are not planning on paying me they don't need a 1099 or SS# huh? ...

that do not have you fill out a time card and make you work 18 hours a day to get your line count without paying overtime. Is this against the law? I was told to get my line count or else, but it is impossible on the account I am on. I can make it if I work 18 or more hours a day,but I am not being paid for all these hours and there is no time clock or varification of hours or anything and we are made to work the weekends without overtime pay,etc. ...
