I always thought this mandatory OT was only for the days I'm scheduled to work but turns out I have to work 1 hour on my days off too! Thinking of lots words I can't type here. :|

NO WAY JOSE WOULD I WORK ON MY DAY OFF! Also, I am not working over 9 hours a day, that is it. I cannot sit that long. You need more help, make India do it.

I told my CCM that teamwork and communication went both ways and that if she wanted me to work extra then I needed the comp plan that was promised early summer. Until I see it and make sure I am not getting shafted yet again I am not working any extra outside my shift. That is my line in the sand.

They cannot make you work extra. I would love to see them try to fire anyone for not working OT. Bunch of bullies.

commitments prevents you from promising them extra time, but if you find some free time, you can check in. Then check in or not, whatever you want to do.

we have been behind on my account for months and had required OT. I bet they probably cannot attract experienced or even well educated trainable people any more to do this job, so their plan for cheap transcription and tight TAT has backfired. Serves em right!

for the low wages, the new MTs are just that, new. Now where can they go? They can stay at this point, not being able to get MTs to work, certainly not extra, or they will have to do something to bring the good MTs back.
