Seems to me, "one year acute care experience" was the basic requirement to sign on with an MTSO. Then it went to three years. Now, a lot of places require "five years' experience." Plus, QA has gotten unbelievably picky. I've always had top-notch quality and even been complimented personally by physicians at various local clinics. Recruiters call my test scores "excellent." And YET, wherever I start working, my QA looks like the homework of some dyslexic third-grader that comes back from the teacher covered in red marks. Plus, you need to be able to learn all account specifics by yourself-- please don't call us with a question that is answered on page 17, paragraph 3, of your manual! I am thinking to myself, For crying out loud, do you have to be a bloody genius anymore to work for an MTSO?? How does anyone manage to break into this world? And for all that-- once you're actually IN-- there's nothing to do-- you're not paid well for the work you do, but that's not a problem, because there is no work in the first place-- OH FOR PETE'S SAKE! IT'S LIKE HAVING TO GET A PERFECT SAT SCORE TO BE ADMITTED TO A SCAM ONLINE UNIVERSITY!! Vent over, at least for the next 15 minutes. ;-) If it weren't for this forum, what would I do with myself-- oh wait-- laundry-- water tomato plants-- go to the grocery store-- never mind!! Maybe I do have a life!
