I am honest when interviewing with prospective companies/MTSOs. I tell them my experience then tell them I'm ready and able to work. Will they have at least 1000 lines a day for me to work? Would there ever be a chance for 1500+ per day/per "shift"?
Guess what? They ALWAYS say yes. They ALWAYS say, "Oh, it's very rare we ever run out of work! You won't find that problem HERE with us!"
Guess what again? Still ALWAYS running out of work. Seems 500-800 lines a day is the cutoff for all of them. They're ALL liars. I don't care HOW nice they are on the phone when you talk to them, they're all out-and-out liars.
Like someone said below, they don't care if 5 or 20 MTs are getting the work done as long as they get it in on time and make THEIR money.
So tired of stressing out about paying my bills. By this time next year, I'm out of MT once and for all.
No respect for good, honest, hard-working MTs anymore. This disrespected so-called "career" is dead, dead, DEAD, and I'm done, done, DONE.
