Question about Craigslist jobs - see msg please

I have applied for a few jobs on craigslist. Should I feel creeped out? I'm to the point of desperate in terms of looking for work outisde of MT, but I'm wondering if I have done the right thing. I do have my name and phone number on my resume, and all jobs listed seem legit.

What do you all think??? I have limited it to my particular area, but it's still a little creepy to me.

I don't have a resume posted on CL, but I've applied - for a few in my area; they were legit. nm

I found my current (non MT) job on Craigslist. Prior to this one, I applied for a different (non MT) job on Craigslist and was contacted by a physician, and we sent many e-mails back and forth. I think it's safe to respond to CL job ads but, of course, always be cautious and follow your gut instincts as you never know.

The company I am currently temping for I found through Craigslist. Just submitted by first invoice and payment will be forthcoming on Tuesday.

STAY AWAY FROM CRAIGSLIST!!! It is not but a bunch of scammers who lure you into several emails back and forth and then to find out there is really no work at all; also there is no job at all. I almost got scammed TWICE and no way am I going back. Craigslist is for losers as far as I am concerned. I could not believe the level people scam. A "company" sent me a check for 1950$ and told me that FIRST I had to send their money so they could get me certified, and then to take the rest of it and buy a printer, etc., only to find out it was a hoax check and now the people are under investigation by the bank in Chicagoland. I hope they get caught, busted, prison, throw away the key. You have to be VERY careful if you use Craigslist. As for me, I am outta there.

6 yrs ago. I worked for 2 years in a nonprofit for a while prior to this one and that job was also posted on CL. Most of the scammy jobs ads don't provide a lot of information (like city, state) or have suspiciously high hourly wages for common jobs like admin asst.

I recently changed my health care to Kaiser and have observed first hand and for the first time, the use of electronic medical records; they really are of immeasurable assistance to each provider who is treating the patient. I just ran into a local job already, MOWING GRASS. The lady's lawn mowing man just finished school and is quitting the mowing. So, I am about to finish a medical transcription certificate program through a community college. I have started going through these boards and I am starting to get nervous about job possibilities. Most postings are about how horrible the industry is and how impossible it is to get a job. I haven't been getting a second resevered job for quite some time and was wondering if I was the only one. I have told my manager and she said she would fix it about 2 months ago. It really stinks because after I complete a job it throws NJA at me. If I let if search for jobs long enough it will find me one. offered the same amount of money that they make in India now so that evens out the playing field. Seems that way anyhow. It seems they are either extremely low CPL or full of ESLs that means you also cant make any money.
