Question about coding in a hospital

It's been a really rough week. I work in a MR dept. There is so much favoritism & immaturity here. I'm trying to get my CPC & eventually my RHIA. Are there other coding positions in a normal hospital setting that are not in MR? I think here they have a tumor registrar & some coders in the business office as well. I just don't want to be in the environment I'm in right now. ...

Was laid off in April. Have a couple offers from transcription companies, and one from a clinic which is part of a huge school/hospital system in our area, (which actually is through a temp agency).
