Would appreciate any current information on TTS, particular related to IC status. Thanks much.

They are good to work for. I'm an employee, not an IC. Pay is always on time. Good communication. Lots of QA scores.

Have you worked for them for very long? The reason I ask is that they seem to cross-train one on an account and then that account has no work?? What is up with that? I never quite get the full picture. I am an employee, NOT an IC. Does the employee MT get 1st priority for work? I have very high QA scores, doing a good job, but feel I give way too much of my time for not much money. Could you e-mail me thru this board if you can help provide me any input? Thanks!

Can you give an indication of what you know? I am nervous about sending an email and exposing my email address if they watch this board so closely. I've been with them for over 3 years. Things could be better.

then why don't you post them here for everyone to see since you would be anonymous. Maybe you should go work at MQ or some of those other places. It would make you really appreciate TTS!

I once worked for TTS. Worked mostly on P on escription, then they wanted me to crosstrain on another account for some reason I forget.. it was HORRID work and lines. All of a sudden I was banished from the P account, where the lines are good and actually pretty good dictators for VR for the most part. ... and I got yelled at if I went back to do a few P reports for some respite and a bit of decent money.

Yes.. there is definitely a mental component in TTS.. Bipolar has been my diagnosis. :-)

I just applied--ad said MT and also said employee--just got a letter back with info about how the job was a VR editor and IC only. O....kay. BTW, this is without having taken any tests or anything, but with having sent a resume including around ten years of MT experience. Maybe you'll have better luck.

You wouldn't want to work for the owner anyway. It would not be a very good experience. Let's just say there's a mental component there.

Have read the archives but most of it is from 2009 and older, a few posts in 2010 but really hoping to find out more current information. They are offering IC status but then list the shifts that they expect you to work??? What is their pay like? I read on their website that they hire someone with a Learntranscription.com certificate or a certificate from any accredited AHDI affiliation.
