Is Taylor’d Transcription still in business?  I applied over a year ago.  They were hiring only Independent Contractors and offering 7-1/2 cents without spaces (VBC).  I never went any farther, so don’t know any more as far as platform or how they operate.  I looked them up again today, and they still do not have a website.  So, they are either really, really small or someone bigger ate them by now. 

Transcription Plus out of Bristol, CT has an interesting website (I have no personal knowledge, but was curious).  They seem to transcribe everything under the sun (medical, legal, conferences, etc), so not sure if they would have enough medical to keep everyone busy.  Plus they pay by the hour because they expect their Independent Contractors to proof EVERY report by re-listening to it word-for-word and expect 100% accuracy.  Not too many MTs want that kind of pressure every day.  I do love one of their questions on the on-line Application: 

If I met your former boss at a barbecue and asked to hear just one sentence about you, what would the sentence be?
