I have received the notice and my STM is not on the list of AMs, so I assume those of us with the 3 NOT on the list now are getting the calls. I have been told today is the last day for those STMs not on the list, another position was not offered to them in the company and they are gone.

mine did check in, but just done with phone call, it is official today is her last day. I am encouraged that the promotion of our new AM was from within and that they are consolidating management rather than cutting our pay again! Will have to wait and see what happens.
I note that in the last week there have been many new MTs come on board at Webmedx. They are being hired for new accounts. I'm wondering of Webmedx kept their word by calling those they laid off and asking them to come back. If you were laid off, did you get a call? (I know, whether you'd consider going back is another question entirely) ...

Has anyone, working for Webmedx, received an anaymous call, from the Department of Revenue, requesting information about your salary at Webmedx, stating they received your information as part of a list of employees from Webmedx???
I declined to answer as the individual could/would not provide any identifying information, including name, and the number was blocked.

I am tired and frustrated from applying and sending out resumes only to be ignored. It is like a game with them, I think. MedGarde even has an interview which has absolutely nothing to do with your skills or qualifications. In fact it seems like psychological testing to see if you are mentally competent or something like that. I swear I feel like a mouse that is being tested and run through a maze to see how well you perform, but even mice will get the prize or food event ...
I am considering requesting this pay which (depending on the state) considers us to be on-call and must be paid for part of our shift if no work.

Got rejection E-mail for in-house job I applied for. Then less than 1 hour later, got rejection E-mail for a government clerk position I had applied for like 2 months ago. I have always gotten paid time-and-a-half for holiday pay on the Fourth of July, which is one of Medquist's holidays (or so it is listed as and always has been), and was told by CCM we would be paid time-and-a-half for that Monday's work done since even though it wasn't the fourth, it is when it is nationally celebrated. I have an interview on Monday to work at a local veterinary clinic doing transcribing full time in house for animal patients. No joke, they have 17 doctors on staff and supposedly a ton of work. It means that if you do ACH you get your pay 9 days after you should have gotten your pay. Think about what that means for your bank account versus what it means for their bank account. It is significant when multiplied by hundreds of employees. It means much worse if you get an actual check in the mail. ...

questions I want to ask. I usually ask about direct deposit, but in light of my recent experience of constantly being paid late (and still not paid!), I am thinking about asking them if they have had or are having any pay issues, but then I wonder if that might be an offensive question to ask, plus if they do not pay on time or at all, it is doubtful that they would say yes, so .......
