TT/IMEDX Office365 clarification - gonesoon
Posted: Mar 04, 2015
Hey, got an e-mail back from IT. Those of us who are ".net" just have to worry about having the correct browser. Whew!!
Yeah, but it still stinks. - Would rather have my email delivered to my desktop

I depend on my Outlook for its calendar and other features and dislike having to get my emails via a browser. My personal email comes directly to my desktop, so it just makes sense that my work email does too.
Just another disorganized and poorly thought-out design courtesy of imedx. There is no reason why the MTs can't also be .com.

Is there a reason IMEDX/TT doesn't just go back to our original Outlook? Heck, how easy would that be to just be able to put in your password and start using it again?
Just a thought....Some days I wish I knew they WERE reading all of these comments.
Now, if I just had work....
You can use Outlook - bobmark

Just add it as a new account in Outlook. Just enter your email address and password and it does the rest.
Office365 is a new name for Microsoft Office 2013 - bobmark

The web-based email system is just Microsoft Exchange. I have it set up in Outlook and on my iPhone. It's pretty simple to do. Of course you have to have the Microsoft Office suite on your computer to do that. If you use Outlook for your personal mail, you can use it for work too.
Was snooping through the options. Under the 2nd options on the drop-down list, the "reply option" default is "reply all." I changed mine to no, just to be on the safe side. Under "layout" is where you can set up your signature block. ...
If there are corp spies on here, could you please explain to us the math? Obviously nobody understands it and there is a lot at stake here. Do you sleep well at night, picturing all those posting here about crying, not being able to pay bills, losing 2/3 pay, etc. Do you really feel good collecting your salary when you read all this? Do you really believe the corporate propaganda about how this is a good thing? Try walking in our shoes for a while. Start out y ...
"The cystic duct was "probed patent" or "probe patent"
Also, when typing numbers to specify digits, it is 2nd metatarsal or second metatarsal.
Thanks for any and all responses. ...
After a 5-year break from being an MT, I am working for a small MTSO as an editor. I am trying to implement some quality standards for consistency. I need clarification of a few items to make sure they haven't changed in the last few years.
12 o'clock - regarding position still accurate?
Need guidance on numbers - numerals in dosages, measurements and ages - has that changed?
Thanks! ...
I try to make corrections according to MME feedback, which sometimes is conflicting and makes me nuts. I have a question about diagnoses/impressions. I know dictated abbreviations should be expanded.
Dictated: CAD with PCI and CABG.
Transcribed: Coronary artery disease with PCI and CABG.
Corrected: Coronary artery disease with percutaneous coronary intervention and coronary artery bypass grafting.
PCI and CABG are not diagnoses, but procedures, so why woul ...
Has anyone else had a very high QC% these last two weeks? Mine has been off the chart, as in, higher than it's ever been and not matching what I'm actually sending to QC myself. It also doesn't match what's in FIESA (which would also include files that go to QC automatically).
Anyone else have this issue? I asked my TSM and she said, "The percentages come straight from FIESA and what's being reviewed." As in, avoided the question.
With them back ...
Please see the following article from - I think - Business Week, regarding the buy-out of Spheris. I think it should make us all breathe a little easier. It seems to clarify that there are 2 separate worlds, and that MQ intends to keep its U.S.-based transcription entirely separate from CBay's India-based transcription:
Spheris, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in a Delaware court on Wednesday, already has two buyers lined up for the privately owned company: MedQuist Inc. ...
anyone get clarification on the 3 cents a line we will be getting for ALL reports over 10% and later 5% or just 3 cents less a line for only the reports that get sent to QA? Anyone know? ...
Okay, I got a ding today from my extremely sweet and helpful QATL. It seems I did not send as a cc a requesting physician dictated. I looked at the report and I did enter the requesting physician in the ADT and the body of the report. I thought if they did not specifically request a cc be sent, then you did not. Am I wrong? Old dog needs help. Also, I thought if the Req Physician was in the ADT it automatically received a carbon copy.. Hmmm.. ...
Can anyone clariify a procedure code for me. What is the difference between
99.10 - infusion/injection of thrombolytic agent and
36.04 - intracoronary artery thrombolytic infusion
I have researched this all day and cannot find an answer. Does 36.04 which states direct injection mean open surgery (CABG)? I cannot find anything that tells me the difference. Thanks in advance. CathyCoder ...
There were some recent posts regarding Dictate Express and their rate of pay. This is general transcription and the account I am on has very clear speakers. A template is provided to use. Granted, there were "gripes about their pay; however, the first report I did was a little over 900 lines, so if I can do 2-3 files a day, then that would make for a decent paycheck. ...
I have an orthopedist testifying re an subacromial steroid injection for bursitis. He says, "I need a 43 and 3," in re to the shot itself. I can't find anything on this. I am only guessing that 43 is a milligram or dose, and 3 might be the size of the needle? I don't know how to write this. Does anyone know?
Thanks! ...
Moderator, please delete everything on your site that refers to Imedx, even this post of mine, it is only the right thing to do. I prefer to be angry and have no where to vent.
Last week we were told by Op Mgr that "she has a call into the client about why volume is so low."
Yesterday, we got a "yippee" from "her" about having a coupla hundred jobs ready.
This morning, we got an email saying, "we need to make sure you have backup accounts now."
I wont address the timesheet issue, I am still ...
Blah! Blah! Blah!
Please clarify something that stood out for me.
". . . beginning of 2012 pay rates increased 6.6% and beginning 2013, 3.4%."
For who? Surely, not for me. My pay has decreased substantially in the the last 3 years with more time spent editing each day.
HMMMMM.

No one on this board seems to give specifics when they get canned from IMEDX. So my question is this: Can each person who got laid off/fired let us know more details. Were you PT or full time, did they call or did they email, did you have options, or just firing. How many lines did you do per day. Some of us may not be in your situation and you may have been just an employee that was not worth IMEDX's time and they got rid of you while they may keep all the others, or full timers. Details p ...
Shift differential is applied to lines transcribed after, say, 6pm. MQ's shift diff was 1/2 cpl for lines transcribed 6pm-midnight EST, and 1 cpl for lines transcribed midnight-6am EST. Now, it appears MQ's shift diff is 3/4 cpl for lines transcribed 9pm-5am EST.
CMT differential is simply an increased line rate, regardless of when the lines are transcribed. It's basically a higher rate of pay for obtaining certification. The shift diff would be in ad ...
What we were told is that it was a "partnership". They were just described to us as a new HR company taking over our HR Department. I hadn't heard anything about people getting layed off, but it doesn't surprise me. We just elected our health benefits with United Health Care and now they want us to they want to choose health plans all over again with Aetna!! ...
Things are just too quiet. So many problems, and I feel like they just quit talking about them. No more mention of shutting down TT e-mail, etc.
I agree with a poster below who stated she feels like she works for a nonentity.
I realized today I haven't even seen an e-mail from DH in a month. Starting to wonder if even she jumped ship or was told to get off the ship.

I was lucky enough to get out of MT and TT/Imedx just before Christmas. I can't remember how many payroll companies there were last year and how many W2s to expect. Guess I'm just trying to block out the whole experience of TT/Imedx! TIA ...
Has anyone received their TT W2s from before IMEDX as of yet? Can anyone tell me the website where they would be available? I believe it was ADP, and I can't get in there. TIA for any and all help. ...
I am afraid that imedx is wanting to eliminate all TransTech employees. That is the only thing that makes sense to me, considering their decisions. We will see. ...
