What info does anyone have on imedx? Good and bad ?  Thank you

is being said on my post a few below. Either it is really great and no one wants others to know (don't think that is the case though from what I can tell in the archives) or it is really, really bad. Hopefully someone will come forward with some info.

I hated them. QA's allowed to cherry pick jobs - and they sure do a lot of it.

Couldn't get a break with them taking all the good work. Only good job were available when QA was picking up her kids from school or her day off.

I work on the QA side for them. I do strictly QA and do not transcribe so not exactly sure where your statement about cherry picking applies. We are also paid hourly and not on production, so your statement of "picking the kids up from school" doesn't ring true either.

iMedX requires invoices from their "subcontractors" and then does not pay the entire amount we invoice. I'm on the ChartScript.Net platform. When I send my invoice according to what the platform itself tells me my line counts are, I never get the entire amount. They tell me that even though all my lines might show up on the platform, if I have sent anything to QA in that pay period, those lines might not have cleared QA by the time payroll processes them, and they therefore have not billed the facility for them. In their minds that makes it okay not to pay me for them either. They go by their own production counts, not what the platform I use tells me, so they pay me what they verify through their production tools. That always comes out to anywhere from a few sence to about $15 less than what I invoice. Nothing on earth, no level of niceness on the part of team leads or operations managers or anyone else, no other benefits can make up for this. I'm attempting to get them to give me a statement of what they deduct for the aledgedly not yet verified QA lines versus what I am paid in newly verified lines from the previous invoice versus how much of the check is for the current invoice. I just requested this today in writing and haven't heard back. Of course, I always send at least one report to QA because I have several acounts that are no-blank facilities, and each of them has at least one person who might say something I can't quite understand, says something that makes zero sense, or otherwise forces me to leave a blank and pend to QA. HR has made it quite clear at this point that they expect me to take their word for it about unverified lines that they haven't been able to bill the facility for. Frankly, I don't care if they haven't gotten their pay from their client. I provide a service to them as a subcontractor, and I expect to be paid in full for that service when I bill them, not in installments. If I were dealing with an individual who might not be able to afford to pay all at once, perhaps it would be different, but I'm not dealing with a person. I'm dealing with a large corporation that has the funds to buy other corporations. They can afford to pay their subcontractor bill as well, but they hold out. They have us over a barrel. I would say I wish I had never gotten start with them, but I don't feel bad about that. I didn't foresee that they would steal my work. Who does that? They force us to work for dirt and then they want to take the dirt away. Bottom line, run fast and run far. They are thieves.

No one on this board seems to give specifics when they get canned from IMEDX. So my question is this: Can each person who got laid off/fired let us know more details. Were you PT or full time, did they call or did they email, did you have options, or just firing. How many lines did you do per day. What we were told is that it was a "partnership".  They were just described to us as a new HR company taking over our HR Department.  I hadn't heard anything about people getting layed off, but it doesn't surprise me.  We just elected our health benefits with United Health Care and now they want us to they want to choose health plans all over again with Aetna!! ...
