Has anyone else noticed that since 2/1, an account that used to be overflowing with work now has almost none?

Have you heard something that identifies next week as a problem? Things aren't going well this week, but I've heard nothing from my mgr about things sinking soon. So please, either spit out whatever you know or let the drama start settling down.

Do you honestly think they are going to give - you a life jacket? Please.

Let them jump - just more work for those of "left behind." Sorry, but been listening to "Chicken Little" warnings for the last year. Tired of it. Nothing some of us can do about it anyway - I've got nowhere else to go until my mother dies (I was elected her caregiver) and can ditch her property and mine. Closest good-paying job is at least 50 miles away, so for now, this is my best option.

Mine too. I'll stay and shut off the lights. LOL - Other reasons for me, of course.(sm)

I'm in for the duration also. Between combination of medical problems & pet requirements, I need to be home more than a typical office job would allow.

I know that sounded bad, but that's the main reason I stay here. and I know people mean well with their "warnings," but, pull your big-girl panties up and deal with it. Get a dream to hang onto...oh, wait we ARE living the dream, aren't we. LOL.

I have been reading warnings for a good long time and I haven't seen anything suspicious... The thing no one realizes is that, unfortunately, you are faced with this reality in EVERY company you work for. When I lost my job, given a day notice after 15 years of employment and another one I was with 8 years (given 5 minutes notice), I realized - there is no kind of stability with any job - home or office, and especially in our line of work. So you make the best of what you have and hope for the best.

No one on this board seems to give specifics when they get canned from IMEDX. So my question is this: Can each person who got laid off/fired let us know more details. Were you PT or full time, did they call or did they email, did you have options, or just firing. How many lines did you do per day. What we were told is that it was a "partnership". They were just described to us as a new HR company taking over our HR Department. I hadn't heard anything about people getting layed off, but it doesn't surprise me.
