Question about Transcend interview please ... (sm) - Nonnie

I have a phone interview scheduled with the recruiter for Transcend later this week and was just curious as to what kind of questions they ask. The last phone interview I had was probably close to 10 years ago, so just a bit nervous about it.

My interview was with the recruiter. It only lasted a few minutes and was really comfortable, not scary at all. She asked questions like, how did I come across Transcend â�¦ how did I feel about VR â�¦ what kind of work place did I have in my home â�¦ what kind of references do I own â�¦ and how do I handle distractions during work time. The whole time I was talking, I could hear her typing on her keyboard in the background like she was transcribing what I was saying, LOL. I'm sure you'll do great, it was a really comfortable interview.

had a "real" interview in years and the closer it gets, the more nervous I am, lol.

You'll do great. I was nervous too but it seemed more like chatting with a friend than an interview. The whole thing lasted for about 10-15 minutes maybe, and it flew by.

I pretty much got the same questions..did last about 15 minutes..I know another question I got was what kind of resources did I use to find stuff and what do I do when I can't hear something in a dictation...after the interview, then you have to take the test...which is easy and they usually get back to you right away..Good luck!!

The recruiter was very friendly. She asked about my experience with larger hospitals and ESL. She wanted to know about a mistake I had made and how I handled it. We didn't discuss my home office, references, or VR. I guess they all have their own interviewing style.

I am doing some side work transcribing a research interview, and was wondering your opinions. One of the respondents in the interview panel is ESL. Her grammar is very often incorrect. I asked them when I got the project if they wanted the transcription verbatim, and she said "yes, let's leave it true to form."
