ProScript any info current employees - bonyfingers

Looking for information on this company from current employees...how do you like it...do you stay busy...and what do they pay for VR and straight transcription

Best advice I can give - look elsewhere - BeenThere

Nearly all VR at 3 cpl and they do not pay for spaces. It is an overflow company so work does not come reliably. They only have a few accounts, the QA is often wrong. Lots of specs that are changed constantly - and the accounts themselves, when there is work, are not good. Again, I'd stay away and maybe try Amphion or Integrity HD, both are hiring and they're good companies.

Amphion does not pay for spaces either. If you apply - see if you can get escription. SM

It's not easy to accumulate lines on the Triton platform at Amphion and Triton does not pay for spaces so I would ask about an escription account if you do apply.

That is true, however, I believe Amphion does make up for that ... see msg. - BeenThere

in a higher rate (0.09 when I was there). I did both platforms and made decent money, although eScription did, indeed, work out to better pay.
doesn't 9 cpl w/o equal to about 7 cpl w/? - nm

Yes but Proscript only pays 0.03 cpl. - Beenthere

When I worked there it was straight VR, although the VR was so messed up that it was more like straight typing for VR pay. They don't pay for headers and the headers are ALWAYS messed up and it is time consuming fixing those.

When I first started, I was making about 4 bucks an hour and I started figuring out little tricks to make me faster and I peaked at a whopping $8.00 per hour. With the $8.00 per hour though, I was missing small things like "an" aneurysm or "the" patient, and I got in trouble and told my workload would be restricted and they couldn't have that (even though no errors affected the report). Keep in mind that they QA you CONSTANTLY, even if you aren't supposed to be on full QA.

So, anyways, slowed my fingers down and got back down to around $4 bucks per hour and received praise from my team lead on what a wonderful job I was doing, although no way could I pay any type of bills with that. As long as it worked for them, I guess that was all that mattered.

I finally just quit with no notice and no one noticed, lol.

There are TONS of account specifics and TONS of accounts. If you are typing on say "Account A" and it looks like you may have enough to keep a good rhythm going, all of a sudden an email will come through that says "All hands on deck for Account A" and then next thing you know, account has dried up. You start typing on "Account B" after reviewing the NUMEROUS account specifics, which are completely different than "Account A" and then same email, same results. You seem to spend more time scrutinizing account specifics and making little money.

Another thing is, if you mess up an account specific numerous times during typing an account you get numerous QA dings for that. So, I had made it through QA just fine, no problems and then I was typing on an account that wanted the months spelled out, rather than use numbers and I didn't switch my brain from the previous account I was typing on where they wanted the months in numbers. I typed about an hour on that with multiple reports, making the same error over and over. The next day, I received a call from someone I had never spoken to and didn't even know who he was and he said they had decided to let me go, due to my multiple errors.

Keystrokes - Current Employees

Has anyone received their "follow-up call" yet to the survey the employees were asked to fill out over four months ago now?  We were again assured about a month ago that this would be made a top priority.    Also, is anyone else typing on a radiology account right now at the $1/report rate?  Just curious if anyone would be willing to share on average how many reports they are typing in a pay period at this rate. ...

Any Current Accentus Employees??
May 20, 2013

I will be interviewing soon for a position at Accentus.  Since they are a part of Nuance, I thought I would post my questions here.  I want to get the opinions of any current workers.  Do they run out of work often?  Is the Apex platform anything close to the Escription platform?  Is the STAR team really worth the extra per line or is it too much to take in?  I have seen posts on here from last year, but want to see how they are currently.  Any input is greatly ...

I've worked here since the start of the DMT project. I was hired by the person in charge of the project, but have had to deal with the CEO a few times during the past few months. I'm wondering - does anyone else have a hard time with the CEO? She seems to be very.... egotistical. I have had nothing but GREAT experiences with the lady who is the Migration Manager, and the guy who is Senior Project Manager is awesome (in fact, if I remember correctly, he was the person who brought th ...

Question For Current/past SoftScript Employees..
Sep 20, 2011

Wondering if anyone has been let go because of sending over 8% of work to QA.  They expect our line count to be at least 135 an hour (which for the most part is easily done), our accuracy to be 98+ and under 8% to QA.  Sometimes this is not possible.  I do everything I can to not send to QA (relisten, utilize google, books, relisten, adjust speed/sound, did I mention relisten, relisten, relisten).....but lets face it there are a boatload of dictators that are just impossible.  ...
