Precyse recruiting for 2nd and 3rd - Lissybell

Just heard re the above (I work at Precyse).

I have sent resumes twice - sulky

and merely received those "we will check your experience against our needs" e-mails. They will just have to struggle on WITHOUT this gal. (smile).

I think if I ever saw an ad wanting 1st shift MTs nm - I would fall over dead from the shock

It took them a few weeks to contact me and I tested for them last week and talked to a recruiter. I actually asked them why they don't hire 1st shift and I was told they promote from within to 1st shift. You have to start on 2nd and 3rd and then move to 1st shift as an employee when an opening becomes available.

There seems to be a lot of companies hiring with not enough work to go around.

Yes, they have plenty of work but only 2nd and 3rd shift. They have a canned answer about promoting from within for 1st shift. I inquired 6 months ago. I think there are 1100 MTs on the list and someone will have to retire for an opening to become available. LOL. Hateful story.

Yes, they definitely have a lot of work, but a lot of standards too. High lph requirements, 7.5 hours in the chair and they enforce that military style. And as far as "promotion from within for 1st shift" that is a lot of smoke and mirrors. The bulk of their workflow is early afternoon to 6 the next morning. The most you can hope for would be a 12 to 8 or 1 to 9 PM schedule. No true day schedules out there. The few that have them are not coming off of them. All Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday also...NO more M-F.

Saw another recruitment ad for TTS on the job seekers board dated 06/03. For such a small company they seem to go through MTs quickly. Only two of five hired survive after six weeks of employment according to owner's assistant. I am one of the TTS MT casualties. My fellow MTs don't waste your time with TTS. I cannot believe the audacity of the owners/managers to keep trying to recruit on MT Stars (see job seeker's board) when there isn't enough work to go around on TTS and they treat you terrible. Obviously they can't keep MTs but they do keep management which is why they can't keep MTs. Nuance recruited me with a promise of six paid holidays, the usual major U.S. holidays. It includes these holidays in its (new) Employee Handbook. I can't believe the management dumped more MTs. One week they fired 7 MTs and we were asked to work extra even though usually we run out of work. Sounds like mismanagement is still the TTS way of doing things. Wonder if the same owner and supervisors are there? Anybody know? ...

For MT Week last week we got Sonic Rocks which are testicle-shaped shiny black magnets. I was just wondering what is happening at Precyse. I left Precyse last month after they sent my fourth account over to India, and there was no work. Management kept telling us to be patient and just use PTO, but we had not really had any work for months and had already used up most of the PTO.
