Precyse cpl, etc. - Carol2

Does anyone know the cpl rate for Precyse? Do you work on all straight transcription or both straight and VR? What platform do they use? I was thinking of taking the test but don't want to waste my time if the rate is too low. Is the test difficult? Would appreciate any info you may have regarding this company. Thank you.

I have just hired on with them. The pay is .0520 cpl for edited lines and .0806 cpl for straight transcription. This includes spaces and is a 65 character line. They provide equipment. The test did not seem difficult to me. They use their own platform. They pay a 50 dollar bonus if you reach 20,000 lines in a pay period (2 weeks). They seem to have it together. I will be working for the south region with 2 Mayo Clinic accounts. Hope this helps.

which is M*Modal's platform that has been upgraded into oblivion and is now Fluency. If you ever used DQS, it's the version (6 I think) that has the snazzy feature for numbering lists automatically.

I am not sure if they have first shifts. When I went to their website they did, but after I tested and interviewed I was told they did not. I live on the West Coast and they were willing to be flexible since I wanted a first shift, and allowed me to work 11 a.m. to 7:30 which is not ideal for me, but better than swing or grave.

I used to work for Precyse and still would if it hadn't been for my hands not going as fast as needed anymore. They are actually one of the few companies I would call great although, you need to keep in mind a couple of things. They are absolutely hard-nosed on the issue of being sure to get your 40 hours in, even if it takes you 80 hours to do it. It is 40 hours of productive time, not 40 clock hours. There is NEVER a problem with paychecks. They do that on time like clockwork with no trouble. I worked there for 3 years.

They do have a first shift, but VERY FEW people get to work on it, as most of the work starts in at about 11:00 a.m. EST and then goes into the night. They do have second, which is where they want most folks, and third, which they will take anyone for as well as weekends.

They are very tough on QA, but fair, so although I no longer work there, I would still call them a good company and if you are young and don't have any problem sitting still and keeping your hands going for the 8 hours per day, you really can have a great place to work. I wish you luck with them.

Yes, 2nd and 3rd shift on a Tuesday through Saturday of Sunday through Thursday sequence. NO first shifts open. They are flexible on start and stop times and will even let you work a split, but they have no openings on early morning shifts. You might get by with a late morning start time or noon, but their highest workflow is after 11:30 a.m. and up to the next morning. They are especially fond of people who want 2nd shift. The shift I work, and there is no life on 2nd shift. It falls at such an odd time of day. Good luck.

The AS is the best in the company. I also work the accounts you were hired on, and there is an abundance of work and overtime, but the account is not easy. Very picky. Stick with it, it will get better.

For MT Week last week we got Sonic Rocks which are testicle-shaped shiny black magnets. HR just sent around a warning that they're very strong magnets and to not keep them anywhere near the computer or anything that stores info magnetically because people are accidentally erasing their hard drives with these stupid things. I was just wondering what is happening at Precyse. I left Precyse last month after they sent my fourth account over to India, and there was no work. Management kept telling us to be patient and just use PTO, but we had not really had any work for months and had already used up most of the PTO.
