I applied on 04/09/13 and received an email 04/17/13 along with an IC agreement and a debit/credit authorization form for direct deposit stating when they received my signed forms someone would be contacting me to install software. I haven't decided what to do since I was never contacted to test or had a telephone interview to discuss hours, required lines, available work, etc. The IC agreement states 8 cpl - doesn't mention with or without spaces. I am sending an email with various questions that I have to see what kind of answers I get.

The same thing happened to me today. I can't find any info on them online. Does anyone know anything about this company??
Just wondering about this company,. I received an offer, via their contract and pay was finally mentioned on the last page of the contract, which was decent. I was scheduled to have the software installed last week, and there were problems with thei installation (really not sure if it was on my end or theirs), but accordng to the tech, it was problems on their end. I was told to call back yesterday (Wednesday), to install the software. I did and was informed the tec ...
Has anyone recently started with this company and as frustrated as I am? I feel like I am "begging for work," was told there was a "ton of work, " having to email support for jobs, tech support telling me that "jobs are available, only to find out even after refreshing the system that nothing is there, and getting an email from "P," telling me I need more training on the account, and also being told "there is a glitch in the system." Yes, there are many glitches, including the line c ...
They have a post on another site. Know they are India owned and have a website but found very little else. I've worked for MM so the India part doesn't bother me that much, just want to be sure I will get paid. Appreciate any pertinent info. ...
This is an except of an email that I received from the CEO of the company today. This was after I sent an email last week and things were "misconstrued" on their part. After reading this, I am of the opinion that while yes, they offer straight transcription at a "decent rate" by today's standards, it also explains to me why I was tearing my hair out on the dictators I had. We American MTs were getting the "garbage," with no way of being able to look things up by patient.&n ...
had difficulty finding a job with an MTSO and suspect it is because you live in CA (they probably don't like the fair worker's laws we have here, ie, having to pay our benefit rate for OT, having to pay for NJA, etc).
I'm addressing any MTs who have RECENTLY gotten hired by an MTSO AND live in CA. Not ones who live in CA (like me) who have had their jobs for over 3 years or so........

Does anyone know if MQ has "cost of living adjustments" in different parts of the country or if everyone in the US makes about the same line rate range? We were thinking of moving to Ca from Texas. I know I make barely enough to keep my head above water here in Texas. Wondering if the Ca MQ transcripitionists make more? ...
I, too, live in California. I'm a level-3 MT, getting mostly ESLs and other difficult dictators. I've brought my QA percentage down from 22 to 20% but it's impossible for me to go any lower with what I'm being routed. It looks like our job description has changed dramatically. Because of these new changes imposed by corporate, I'll now be getting paid 3 cents less through no fault of my own, but a different job description, not what I was hired to ...
Because of our situation with MQ if anyone finds that utility, rent has a shut off notice you can dial 2-1-1 and they will assist you on taking care of this immediate need. ...
Does anyone presently work for or in the recent past worked for FutureNet out of California? They are currently hiring and I would like to know of anyone's experience working for them either as an MT or an Editor. Do they have plenty of work, pay on time, nice to work for, is the pay rate decent, etc. Yes, I have searched the Archives, but would like more recent information if available. Thanks in advance to anyone who can supply this. ...
What is wrong with these people??? I am looking for anyone who has had or does have experience with this husband/wife team. I am having a very hard time working at this place and I need to know what the deal is with these people. Are they just RUDE or what?? ...
I need to know if Keystrokes hires California MTs. I am unable to get OT because of the generous OT laws in California so want to know which companies hire California MTs before I waste my time.
Are there MTs in California who work for Keystrokes Transcription Service? ...
To whoever it was that said they are compensated for NJA in California, can you give me some more info on how you found out about CA compensation for NJA? Did your TSM or HR confirm? How exactly do you enter it in Teamwork? I am also a California MT with NJA almost every day. Thanks. ...
I've seen where some companies are not interested in hiring MLSs from California (presumably because of labor laws). I'm wondering if any Nuance MLSs from California have felt some bad vibes lately? I'm wondering if they want to get rid of us. ...
Finally received my last paycheck from this company YESTERDAY . . . of course I've been waiting since JULY. Oh, and the check is dated for next Tuesday . . . ...
After 18+ years of transcribing, I am flat out of work. For the last 12 years I have worked for a small transcription company with multi-speciality clinics. So my previous hospital experience is not current. That seems to really be hurting. I hopefully have an interview with ProScript this week and was wondering if anyone out there knew anything about ProScript. Thanks for your help. itypeit ...
If you are an employee working in California with an employer in another State you need to be aware of the State of California Labor Laws. I worked for a company in FL and worked overtime for several months. They did not want to pay me time and a half. I made a phone call to the Labor Department and had my back overtime pay and penalties paid within one week. I had the same come up when I was laid off last month. I waited to get my last check for two weeks and then remembered about the ...
find an MT job? I'm currently with a horrible company (you guessed it, starts with M)...and would like to try elsewhere, but I am worried that another MTSO won't hire MTs in California anymore because of their strict employee laws (which are fair to the employee but I'm sure employers don't like)......
So, any CA MTs out there who found a job fairly easily recently? Thanks in advance for any replies. ...
California EDD apparently did a computer upgrade over the Labor Day weekend and -- surprise -- had problems. Possibly 600,000 people have not received their benefits, including me. I am livid. ...
Don't want to give the name of the account, but my primary is a multispecialty clinic in CA... the rest of the docs moved to Epic some time ago, but the Ortho clinic stayed on. Haven't gotten any work from them in the past few days. Wondering if anyone knows if they finally made the switch, too? Would totally suck if that's the case, I always looked forward to those reports. ...
California is one of the few states that require paid breaks. The way Nuance ignores this is illegal. Does anyone have any experience with pushing this issue? ...
Nuance is required to pay for your 10-minute rest breaks separately and clearly display it on your pay stub. You are owed 1 hour of pay for every day PAID breaks are not provided going back 3 years. Their nonsense of stating breaks are figured into your line pay is illegal since when you log out to take a break, your production stops. Contact your local labor commission. ...
