I saw a posting for this company and can't find much info. Has anyone worked for this company?

I worked for them from Sept-Feb this year (had to quit because my other job picked up) and they were great! My team leader was awesome and accessible and when she wasn't available, someone else always was. Always plenty of work and paid on time every time. I would LOVE to go back.

ICs or employees? Required to do speech rec? Lots of difficult accents? (I know, asking for too much) Thanks if you can answer my questions.

IC's but they do direct deposit and they send you a stub too (which is nice for running totals). I never did speech rec with them, mine was all straight typing and a lot were templated but you still got paid for them (which is nice because there are so many that don't pay for QT lines). I only ran into a few difficult (for me, it's Asian) accents when they first started the Texas account I was on. All the others were English as a first langauge, quite clear and also even would spell things for you too (which is rare nowadays). I absolutely loved the work there and am sorry I quit it now because my other job has tapered so much and I could have compensated with that one as there was always plenty of work on the account I was on. Also, this is just speaking of the one account as that is all I have experience with them but it was working for a lot of dictators.

I worked for them for about 2 and a half years, and it was pretty good. Always plenty of work and always paid on time. I liked the last supervisor I had, but I did have one who was a total idiot.

I was a full-time employee and did mostly offshore editing, which wasn't great but better than voice rec in many ways. I did have a lot of difficult dictators, but it just depends on what account you work on.

No one on this board seems to give specifics when they get canned from IMEDX. So my question is this: Can each person who got laid off/fired let us know more details. Were you PT or full time, did they call or did they email, did you have options, or just firing. How many lines did you do per day. What we were told is that it was a "partnership". They were just described to us as a new HR company taking over our HR Department. I hadn't heard anything about people getting layed off, but it doesn't surprise me.
