I'm with you. I'm sympathetic to whatever issues they are having, but enough already. nm - Surely there are other companies we can gripe out

that we have to read down the whole page of IMEDX to see what else is going on, and at this rate, if we do post something else, it will get buried by IMEDX posts.

Everyone has issues, not just IMEDX in this crappy profession.

What I find interesting is no one from GIS - sm - InkMT

is on here complaining....they took over GIS a while back, over year ago....numerous changes....believe me the worst is yet to come, everything you discuss is old news to those who were with GIS, but from what I can tell no one from there gets on here about it, etc. Some have left, I am waiting to see what the SR/VR is like as the accounts have not switched to that as yet but I expect will do so shortly. I lost all my work to India as did others, picked up new doctors though, not bad ones either but have seen my yearly income go down 50% from GIS, not good obviously. I expect only a handful will be left standing in the end, either going onto other MTSOs or outside jobs. But if you have to rely on Imedx for your total income then start looking for other opps now, things will not get any better in the long run.

I have a question about Smartype and I will try to make it so it is understandable:) I bought Instant Text because I had to have some way of moving my Smartype over into Word 2007 (I had Word 2002). I have Instant Text turned off until I learn the new platform on the new company I am with. My problem is this, the Smartype line will not move with the page so when I get to the bottom of the page it covers up everything at the bottom and I can only manually move Smartype by scrolling back up ...

I am working in Word 2007. I am trying to make a template that has a different first page top margin. Can anyone give me some help? I have searched on MT Stars but can't seem to find anything. Just got an offer with a company for 1.00 a page for medical transcription. I had thought when I applied it was some kind of insurance transcription but it turns out they are medical. I have been transcribing for many years from home and I usually use per line rates. However, I have a Dr. that is interested in using my service, but they send all the info by internet and I would just have to type everything up.
