Thanks for nothing, TTS! You schedule a time for a phone interview with me and then you don't call?! Boooooo!
Are you sure you weren't supposed to call them? - .

It wasn't with that company, but another one for me. I didn't hear from them at the scheduled time, so I called and they acted like they were expecting my call!!! They didn't specify who was supposed to call whom, so I assumed, but wrongly. TTS probably specified, but just in case they didn't...
Yes. They were supposed to call me and I am looking at their e-mail right now. - O-well

That actually happened to me also but for a different company. Turned out that the HR person had a family emergency and was out of office. I would send an e-mail right away and question what is going on.
Got a call with an offer letter promised to be emailed... - NEVER heard another word!sm

Emailed and called and left voice mail for recruiter, NOTHING. That was a month ago!
TTS is notorious for this. They are "confused." - EX-TTS

I can't tell you how lucky you are that they did not call you. There is nothing but mass confusion at this company run by a confused lady with equally confused support staff. (You may substitute crazy for confused for this bunch of clowns who run TTS)
Same thing happened to me with TTS! - mt

When I posted the same thing on here last year, the response I got from this board was "be happy they forgot you". I went on to be hired by a great company just a day later. So thanks, TTS!

I was fortunate I suppose. So far, they've been great to me, and I've been having some trouble understanding some header issues. They've been patient with great feedback, an awesome IT lady who spent nearly all day on the phone with me last week helping me with a problem with my computer. Sorry you're having problems, but I like TTS.
I am scheduled for an interview with AssistMed. Does anyone know if they have PTO? I can't seem to find any info. Any info would be helpful.
THANKS! ...
Everything I've read has been positive. Is it difficult to work up to over 200 lph for transcription and 325 for VR? Seems like it would be, looking at their compensation. Thanks!! ...
Greetings MT sisters,
After taking several tests I have been contacted by Synernet and a phone call has been scheduled. The job in question is full time, which is really more than I'd planned on doing. Still ...
If any of you know anything, good or bad, about this company, I'd be very grateful for you to share it. Particularly interested in availability of work; general quality of VR , if involved; and pay, of course.
Thanks a bunch

I have a phone interview for a transcription job coming up soon. I was just wondering if anyone knows what the interview will consist of and if anyone has any tips. ...
I have not had an interview in probably 17 years and I am freaking out. It is for a Transcription Specialist position, which is basically the customer service person in the transcription department, coordinates workflow, administrative suppor to the manager, and clerical support to the transcription and central scheduling areas.
What kind of questions are asked on phone interveiws? I am assuming the phone interview is to first hear if I have a pleasant phone voice, which I am pretty sure I do ...
Hi,
I have not had a phone interview in six years. I was laid off in September and finally got a response to my resume. Anyway what questions should I make sure I ask. In an email that was sent to me I know the hours, the pay and that it is an IC position. This company found my resume on a board that I posted in 2010. I don't want to name the company yet. I have never heard of them.
Thanks in advance.

about the rate of pay. It is ridiculously low as it is and they said they were implementing higher pay. I have been here 3 months now and no changes. On top of that, they charge us to work for them!! I am going to tell them what I think of this. I have nothing to lose!!! ...
I left MM a few weeks ago and today got a call. They asked lots of questions about how satisfied or unsatisfied I was with MM and I answered them all as honestly as I could. When they asked if I thought any of their practices were illegal or unethical...I told them that hiring people to work for you and then expecting them to use their PTO or go without pay when there was not enough work was extremely unethical. Especially when you have many MTs with NJA daily and others with mandatory OT someti ...
I am thinking about switching my current phone line and going with a bundle deal for our second house. Does Dictaphone C-phone work through a cable phone line? I still have the copper wiring at my primary home because I was afraid to switch it so didn't include the phone service in our cable package there. Thanks!

Anyone know if the C-phone will work with a digital phone line ? (I think it's also called a VOiP line). I'm moving to a new place that has a digital line & don't know if I should have a regular phone line installed instead.
Thanks for any help. ...
shift, how is it legal for them to require we make up the time on another day, when we've already set aside time, clocked in, & wasted time when there was no work during our scheduled shift!! So, if this is legal, in theory they could just keep you on stand-by all the time for free until there's actually some work to do. How can they get away with this? I could see if they had let us know ahead of time, you'll be off on such-and-such day but have to substitut ...
Daughter needs a need phone. Don't want to have to buy a data plan. What is NOT a Smart Phone these days, but has a full keyboard for texting? Thanks. ...
I'm about to start working for MedQuist, and will be sceduled a certain number of hours to work on certain days. Being an employee versus an IC, if there is no work available, will I still get paid for those hours? ...
and run out of work, wait 15 minutes, put in a Qcare ticket, etc., are you supposed to check back to see if any work comes in throughout the day, or do you take the rest of that day off after getting NJA for 15 minutes? I've never been really clear on the whole thing... TIA! ...
MModal HAS to be in the Top 10 of the worst companies to work for. Got the email saying we MUST work our scheduled hours, only 2 MTs allowed on per account per day, 2 weeks notice if asking for days off, a month's notice if more than 5 days, no changing hours around unless approved in advance. And yet, HERE I SIT . . . just like I did on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday . . . sat down to work my scheduled hours and . . . I have NO WORK! Talk about one-sided! &n ...
