You will probably never get a raise so shoot high. ASR sucks. Supervisors drop off the face of the earth mysteriously. Paychecks keep getting smaller though you will work harder, that is if you get work.

Phone interview - stumped
[ In Reply To ..]
If I remember correctly, someone called me a couple of days after my phone interview with an offer. To be honest, I do not remember exactly what they asked me, but I do know that it was a very short interview and very easy. I remember wondering why I had let myself get so nervous.
Take everything you read here with a grain of salt.
I don't remember what it was like to go a whole week, let alone a whole pay period without running out of jobs and having to spend nights and weekends to make it up while trying to plow through 10 different CPs to do so. Arrggghhhh. Is there an end in sight? Just needed to rant a little. ...
I have a phone interview for a transcription job coming up soon. I was just wondering if anyone knows what the interview will consist of and if anyone has any tips. ...
I have not had an interview in probably 17 years and I am freaking out. It is for a Transcription Specialist position, which is basically the customer service person in the transcription department, coordinates workflow, administrative suppor to the manager, and clerical support to the transcription and central scheduling areas.
What kind of questions are asked on phone interveiws? I am assuming the phone interview is to first hear if I have a pleasant phone voice, which I am pretty sure I do ...
Hi,
I have not had a phone interview in six years. I was laid off in September and finally got a response to my resume. Anyway what questions should I make sure I ask. In an email that was sent to me I know the hours, the pay and that it is an IC position. This company found my resume on a board that I posted in 2010. I don't want to name the company yet. I have never heard of them.
Thanks in advance.

about the rate of pay. It is ridiculously low as it is and they said they were implementing higher pay. I have been here 3 months now and no changes. On top of that, they charge us to work for them!! I am going to tell them what I think of this. I have nothing to lose!!! ...
I left MM a few weeks ago and today got a call. They asked lots of questions about how satisfied or unsatisfied I was with MM and I answered them all as honestly as I could. When they asked if I thought any of their practices were illegal or unethical...I told them that hiring people to work for you and then expecting them to use their PTO or go without pay when there was not enough work was extremely unethical. Especially when you have many MTs with NJA daily and others with mandatory OT someti ...
This is for a medical assistant, and all aspects of duties in the office, including transcribing and/or scribing. One of the questions on the application was, "Are you willing to become x-ray certified?" Does anyone know what that would entail? ...
I have an interview later in the week with Accentus; I was wondering if anyone has ever worked for them and if they still do; any info about this company would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. ...
I just finished my program and just passed the RHIT exam. I have no coding experience, but have medical billing experience from years ago. I decided to apply to my local hospital for a coding job that does not specifically state experience is required but preferred. I got an email back that the management team wants to interview me next week. It's safe to say that the "management team" is more than one person and I am soooooo nervous already! I haven't had ...
I have the job if I want it. The law office was very nice, people nice, but I was overdressed! They all wear casual clothes and they're all young'uns.
The job sounds very interesting; contacting judges, doctors, other lawyers to set up depositions and appointments, transcribing the depositions, etc., very hectic and never a dull moment, I was told. Pay is pretty good, too. Had to do a little negotiating there, and they offered a little higher than they usually pay in this positio ...
Does anyone have any thoughts about them? I put out 6 resumes and so far 2 companies responded, Accentus and Nuance. Right now I'm most interested in hearing from anyone with insight about Accentus - starting pay, experiences etc. Thanks in advance! ...
I am thinking about switching my current phone line and going with a bundle deal for our second house. Does Dictaphone C-phone work through a cable phone line? I still have the copper wiring at my primary home because I was afraid to switch it so didn't include the phone service in our cable package there. Thanks!

Anyone know if the C-phone will work with a digital phone line ? (I think it's also called a VOiP line). I'm moving to a new place that has a digital line & don't know if I should have a regular phone line installed instead.
Thanks for any help. ...
Daughter needs a need phone. Don't want to have to buy a data plan. What is NOT a Smart Phone these days, but has a full keyboard for texting? Thanks. ...
To all you wonderful MTs working and slaving your lives away, Happy MT Week. I appreciate you. I appreciate your kindness when I have a rant or a rave, when I'm at my wits end with the constant changing around of clients, client profiles and the never ending dings being thrown at me. I appreciate knowing that I am not alone in this struggle.
It is because of all of you, and only you MTs on this board that I manage to stay in this game. We are treated as less than second class citiz ...
Does anyone know when pay will be distributed this week? A big deal seemed to be made about getting payroll in quickly, so Im wondering if pay will be released before Thursday or if its just going to be Friday as usual. ...
Good grief. I did not change the way I edit. It so depends on how many commas they think you should have. Yes, I made an unusual (for me) mistake last week, but the rest of passing an audit is dumb luck of whether you get a realistic auditor or Ms English wannabe.
Everybody must be under pressure because of the cesspool as I see a lot of mistakes when I look up past reports to help with these mush mouths and accents. The time czar wants schedule changes, but I see no problems with turna ...
Does it now vary from week to week? I used to always know exactly what my PTO was and could calculate it but just noticed that it varied from one paycheck a couple of months back to this past week. How is this now figured? So confusing ...
Does anyone have any idea what is going on with the South region? Why so much work all of a sudden? Lots of late jobs and OT approved. Just wondering. ...
Or is it just me ???
And a question, if there is no work during my regularly scheduled hours, I don't HAVE to make up this time later do I -- I can just eat it right and go without ?? (am PT) ...
