Pros and Cons - worked there

I worked there, and there are positives and negatives just like every place else. Pros: Straight typing, no outsourcing, can make a living at it, can pull up old reports on patients if you have a word you need. Cons: Same error in same report is counted separately so hard to pass QA, the worst acct specs I have ever dealt with, some good and some bad PM (production manager), work is sporadic, and when out you have to email them to be put on yet another acct with different specs, archaic word processing system that is not production friendly, no vacation for 2 years, have to work all holidays the first year. I didn't like it there but have a friend who loves it. Worth a try.

acct spec errors are counted as major errors.

and is very easy to use and i love typing in Word.

Once you are off QA hold this becomes a problem. If you send more than 8% to QA except for mandatory QA it counts against you. Three pay periods in a row and you are fired. It seems like they start new hires on the tough accounts to weed them out, so prepare to have a giant knot in your stomach.

Just recently offered a position at SS. I was just going through the archives to see if there was any info on this company, but everything seems pretty old on here. Anyone working for them now that could give some advice? Good company/bad company? I read where communication is non-existant, but if that is the worst of it.. I can handle that.
